This was such a fun and silly memory game, anything involving remembering very basic items and suddenly I'm out of my depth hah 😅 Thank you for having me on as a guest, I really enjoy this series and it was great to play with Deborah again too!
Played this over Christmas with relatives. Great fun but so frustrating when your mind just go blank and you can’t even remember a single item you’ve seen during the whole play through.
I love how Dave reveals the key in game 1 and then less than 30 seconds later, Nikki passes Lincoln “a key” and he readily accepts it even though it’s face up in front of Dave. Such a fun and chaotic game!
Interestingly enough, if he knows what he's actually getting and what he's about to pass, you could make a case for intentionally accepting the "key" as strategy.
still watching but i love this game so much! at 7:05 nikki gives lincoln a key that he agrees to take while the key is face up in front of dave is one of the many joys this game brings :)
Played this a PAX as a 3 player and had the best time. We were the only ones in the room laughing ourselves silly. Immediately bought it. My weekly 4 player group loves it. With the weekly meetup that plays Ark Nova level games? it wasn't such a hit. I'm not a memory game fan but still have a lot of fun with this one.
This reminds me of Just One, because it's so simple with minimal components and rules, and somebody just put it in a box and sold it. Now it's in every Barnes and Noble. I could have done that, but no one knew.
We like to enforce the saying thank you enthisastically rule. It actually makes you forget your gifts as you're concentrating so hard on graciously accepting your gift.
"Hey, GameNight! Here's a thumb for you~" 😄 As mentioned, I love how the rules explanation seamlessly transitioned to gameplay.. and I also love while it's a very simple game, the discussions at the end might be longer than some of more complex games you've had 😀 Now, the question is.. how I can get myself the copy of this game 🥲
Oh I think we have to give this one a thumbs up! What a fantastic game, so simple to learn, and yet tricky as heck. That plus my favourite players, sure what more could I ask for... excellent! Edit: My copy's ordered! 😁👏
This taps into that same challenge and difficulty people have where street con artists say "Find the queen playing card" or "Find the ball under the cup" (except they cheat as well and move it using sleight of hand!). Since vision is our most prominent sense of the five, we can easily keep track of things we can see, but as this is using short-term memory, the moment we can't see things any more we really lose the ability to keep track. Looks (no pun intended) like a lot of fun! :-)
So much memorization I'd so bad it. Am I weird for wanting to see if a group of eight people with photographic memory would end up playing this forever 😂
What a great calamitous party game. My memory is so messed up since covid that I'd be terrible at it, but I'm definitely gifting this to a few people. Thanks for the play through.
You can actually use the black and white arrows on the cards as clues, if there's only one white arrow in the round etc. Very clever little game! Probably going to get this for our group
Great game play, as always! Love how Lincoln is so quick and confident in his responses when accepting cards, esp. when pointing out when a card is incorrect! Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun. :)
Looks like a good kids game. Feels like could be 'solvable' and becoming too easy with practice. For something similar with a little more 'oomph' I would suggest Cockroach Poker.
