Eeee I dunno about this one. If someone is paying even half attention, they never see the King of Spades when you're counting them, same with the Ace. :/
skoda10 trust me, it's much easier to notice it on video. I've done this trick countless times (and i only learned it recently), and noone has seen what I was doing.
+Film Magician yeah it was pretty noticeable but when I thought he would just have the aces on the other side and he revealed the flush I was pretty impressed. I think its the ending that's the not possible part.
Lol it is easy to get. When he goes through the kings he double caunts the king of clubs( dont know if i wrote that correctly) and seperates the king of spades from the rest. The royal flush comes from double lifting
in this trick, he picks up 5 cards each time, when he shows the cards he only shows three and hides two cards, you can learn to do this easily. once you do that the rest is simple.
2 piles of 4 cards (actually 5 in both), elmsley count 3 aces (no ace of hearts) and king and queen of spades that you don't show, elmsley count 3 kings and jack and ten of spades that you don't show, put down the ten and jack of spades in to pile X, put the three kings in to pile Y, pick the ace pile, put down queen, king and ace of spades in to pile X, sandwhich remaining aces between the kings in pile Y, elmsley count 4 kings (actually only 3) show the royal flush in spades
Notice how he shows you the kings and aces in an Emsley Count. You can see how he shows the same card twice. He obviously takes more than eight cards at the beginning. I've been watching this guy for so long I can tell when he is doing some sleight of hand techniques.
Kiệt Lâm Flipperyfish I probably could learn, but once you get into double lifts, I am out because I have a dozen mathematical, self working or 1 step card trick with arguably more astonishing payoffs and less chances of being caught.
Finally got it after watching like 5 times, great trick! It's quite hard to catch the deception! It's easy to do but you need a lot of practice to pull it out
I was disappointed too but if you use the elmsler count you can figure it out. I also utilized some of his others videos and found an extremely complicated way of doing it, but with a little practice it’s easier.
Lila Raulston-Lappart I probably could learn, but once you get into double lifts, I am out because I have a dozen mathematical, self working or 1 step card trick with arguably more astonishing payoffs and less chances of being caught.
Every one is thinking they've figured it out by pointing out the repeated king and ace. That's like 1/500th of the trick. Congratulations for having eyes.
Elmsey count, showing king of clubs twice and the ace of diamonds twice. Also he probably did something where he picked 2 cards and showed them as 1 in order to fool people to beleive that there are 4 cards shown rather than 5
the cards used are normal, trick is with his hands !! slow down play speed and watch carefully.. in the beginning as he takes out 4 aces by his thumb at the same time he takes out other spade cards with his middle finger or pinkie same thing goes while taking out the kings but while showing he never shows all the cards!!! you can also notice the thickness of the pies cards!!
I like magic tricks and all, but how the hell does people not see that you show twice the Ace of Diamonds and the King of Clubs? Maybe it's because it's a video, but does this work in real life? People don't pay attention I guess?
Yeah, a lot of it is because it's a video, and all you can see of the performer is his hands and the cards. There are a lot of things you can do in a live performance to misdirect and draw attention away from the fact that you're showing the same card twice, even though they register seeing 4 cards.
It works actually. the only reason I always see when this happens is becuase I know what to look for. I recently saw a friend of mine do something similar (and he had an infured finger), and I saw it instantly. The fun part though, is that he failed once and actually made it completely obvious what he was doing, but the other guy still didn't understand. It's amazing what little people see, those that doesn't practice / watch a lot of card tricks
He initially had only 3 aces and 3 kings, and then there were unseen, unknown cards that he just stylistically kept hidden (these 2 cards were the queen, jack, and 10 he had at the end). Then, when supposedly laying the kings down, he lays down a king and the unseen queen. Next, when laying down the aces, he lays down an ace with the jack and 10. Thus, this trick debunked. Great performance, though. Would've tricked me if I was a bit more of a simpleton.
I understand these tricks when I see them revealed but I normally don't actually try to figure them out on my first view. So proud of myself, cause I noticed the ace of diamonds and king of clubs on first view.
It's been a while since I watched your last video and it was like 2 years ago... I nearly forgot about you because I stopped doing magics and now I have time to try new magic tricks so I decided to watch your video (I nearly forgot your name ) and when I found it I was like wow I am back here... and the best part?? hello again everybody 😊 I was just dying to listen this (card trick is awesome tho )
Many thanks for sharing these tricks. My daughter and I are having a great time. She is also doing them to her teachers and classmates. Thanks. Cheers. Nino and Caterina Trieste, Italy
This trick by jerry sadowitz is called "come again" and was published in his book 'Cards Hit' in 1984. Yet it turns up years later along with many other Sadowitz tricks in the books of Paul Gordon. Nobody says a word. THAT'S not possible.
If you notice with the 4 kings both times he shows you a king of diamonds, a king of hearts and TWO kings of clubs (ie: he showed you the king of clubs twice by putting back under the stack).
Doesn't matter if the used the elmsley count or not, it's an incredible magic trick even for someone who can try to figure out the method (as I did ;D)
The ending is kind of wrong. He says that he's going to put all the kings back together. He did the elmsley count to make the kings look like they have come back together. But after, when he showed the royal flush, it appears that the king of spades was there, so basically, he didn't really make it come back together. Anyway, great trick Mismag822!
The effect in the end is very good:-) but watching it a second time its easy to see that special cards like ace of diamonds are shown two times but counted each as 1 additional card.
For those wondering why Mismag won't make a tutorial for this trick is because Paul Gordon (the creator) doesn't really want the secret to be known. Although Hester23BearsCH has a good tutorial of the trick, it would be disrespectful of Mismag to make a tutorial, considering the 600,000+ subs he has.
