@@pippi7144 Unless you've eaten those sandwches in Italy, made by an italian, you haven't eaten a single italian sandwich in your whole life. Especially in New York. Those "cabacoll" (jesus fuck that's one of the most annoying things in the world)/salami/prahshoot (other extremely annoying thing)/concrete chips/pepper jack cheese/rat turds rather than prahshoot/salami/mold from the wall/engine oil concoctions you guys scarf down day in and day out, have nothing italian in them. We simply don't eat crap like that in Italy. We don't mix cold cuts; doing so is the culinary equivalent of pissing on your grand father's grave. At most we do one cold cut and cheese; maybe add some mushrooms or giardiniera. That's it. Anything other than that and above all those monstrosities y'all stuff your faces with, are simply not italian. As simple as that. Before you start a pissing contest, I am italian. Born, raised and still living in Italy. Not some fifth generation american with a washed out hint of Italy in their ancestry and an italian last name. I know what I'm talking about. I live it every day. I can clearly tell the same doesn't apply to you.

This shit looks so fucking delicious, but trust me, I've been to italy and it does not look better than the real stuff they make over there. I agree. Salami needs to be sliced thinly not in chunks, as do the rest of meats. The mix of meats and sausages on one sandwich made me nauseaus. Italy would never ever, ever make such food.
