These are the few times I was able to keep these guys in sight. Make no mistake, the times that I'm keeping up, they're riding 80-90% of their pace, once they pull the pin they lose me in a couple corners. As always, ride within your own limits, avoid riding outside your comfort zone to keep up, and always leave some in reserves in case you encounter something on the road.
Excellent comment,Those 2 guys are in the Top Tier of riders on the hill.Always ride your pace that is comfortable fun and relatively safe depending on conditions
8:01 - DUDE! I was just thinking the same thing. When I was a kid, I had a low speed low-side because of a dang leaf! It would suck to have the occur at a higher speed, mainly because my bike would get all scratched up...
As an XR owner myself I get more pumped when I see you post a new video than by any of the other motorcycle channels out there. I'm going to the Smoky Mountains next weekend and this video has got me so ready to get up there and ride!
That's awesome. I could go and buy a bike I know I would be faster on, but I enjoy the BMW so much that I don't mind putting up with the weight penalty. Every trip to the mountains with this bike is epic, always a great time. Enjoy your trip and be safe out there.
With these guys it was back to back runs, loved it. The S1000XR is quite comfortable despite the weight, so I rarely get winded. I usually run out of fuel or tires before I get tired. 😉
Really impressed by all of you! Subbed👍We have similar roads where I live and currently contemplating whether to get a hypermotard 950 or a streetfighter v2. Which one would you recommend?
Both excellent choices! One of these guys used to have a Hypermotard 950 and he was untouchable, so fast! Check out the video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fivcK4SSsPU.html
May not be the fastest but Supermoto is the way to gooooooooo! Pros and NO cons. Doesn't eat up tires, you drop it and damage is minimal, seating position is perfect and who needs to go over 100 mph anyway??? For those riders that feel the need to ride 1000cc bikes, I hope you guys never get pulled over by a cop going over 100 mph. A 600cc bike can do well over 160 mph and for the streets is way more than enough.... MHO. I ride a 450 sumo with over 45 years of riding time and staying with it...Great riding!
i admire your humility riding within your limits..i think if you will keep on practicing that tail of the dragon eventually you will keep up with ANTPRILLIA and Maxwrist in due time of their 100% ability..they spent more riding hours in that road..😅
