Hi folks...! I'm a musician... and when I play an instrument done of wood like a guitar for example... I think immediately that this instrument was borned in your job... Thank you very much...!!! And please continue doing videos like this one... they are excelents... Greetings...!!!
Only too someone that is barefooted indoors and Whinges when they step on a peice of Lego ,, me personally always cut timber barefooted and mow lawns aswell ,I'm 60 and have better feet than most that wear shoes constantly
Yeah it’s stupid & just plain the pinnacle of carrying ignorance to the limit. 😂 They may think it’s normal to them being barefoot and no eye 👁, head or leg protection, until chainsaw kickback, a heavy slab piece of lumber Lands on top of the foot 🦶crushing all the bones 🦴, one slip up of ur foot & chainsaw cuts ur toes off, a dead tree limb falls from vibration of chainsaw & hits your head , A sharp wood chip hits the eye & blinds the eye 👁....To them Until one of these things happen we Naysayers about protection are just stupid. But after it happens we’re geniuses they wished like Hell they’d have listened to. Given enough time and certain circumstances these accidents do happen. That’s why smart people take safety precautions to avoid these accidents. Helmets ⛑ with face shields, ear 👂 protection, Steel toe logger boots 🥾 as well as leg chaps have saved a many of professional & non professionals from accidents being as bad as they could’ve been.
I love how on all these guys videos there are always so many comments about “but safety safety safety you can’t do that stuff and not get hurt”. These dudes may live in Belarus but they are more free than all of you consumed by manufactured fear
@@BelkoWood you're right but I think it's stupid to take unnecessary risks that bring nothing, but apart from this remark the work is interesting and the wood beautiful
@@mulletman6318 a considerable amount of one's conscience and subconscious is used to protect one's safety. Being aware of your feet, barelegs, etc.. means you are distracted.
Beautiful harvest of a dead tree and what a magnificent specimen!! Love to see the Art pieces they turn into wish I had a slab for a beautiful table as well as Queen head board wow just stunning!!🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I surf through videos, see cool things, stop for a minute, but this...this one--I was mesmerized, could not take my eyes off this magnificent work. Looks like 20,30 gorgeous tabletops. Thank you. Good show!
😂😂😂 He’s got his skin protecting his legs and feet and eye lids to protect his eyes and hair & skin to protect his skull 💀 & head 😂😂😂 But look 👀 on the bright side.... if he’s blind, he suffers Brain or head injuries from chainsaw kickback, if he’s toeless or crippled from being barefoot 🦶 or legless from no chaps........He can still hear everyone in the hospital 🏥 saying he should’ve been wearing protection 😂😂😂
The chain tensioner broke, twisted snapped off from sawdust overload in the chain guide, which could have been caused by the Rakers not being filed down every so often when sharpening the tooth, so too much sawdust may have gotten incorporated into the bar groove, causing hammering. The other reason the chain was seeming dry is the bar was in slab contact on the front and the back, this maybe due to not using narrow skew wedges behind the saw to lift up, just slightly, the back end of the slab, that slab has enough weight on the bank end to squeeze and stop the saw, perhaps that's why the clutch issue at times. Just a few thoughts lent to me by a wise old skinny dude, who dude who sold me a Ms 880:) I mill and slab very occasionally. Having more fun making wood bowls. I was just gonna, you gonna use those knobs you cut off on the side . Respects from wood cutter to wood cutter😀❤
I've been looking for a tree stiked by lightning, if most knew the power of such wood, and the type of ritual work the can be harness with tools made from such a tree.
I love watching you guys, your amazing, talented, hardworking artists! I do love the Skill saws! That van you use is also unbelievable! The loads it carries! Thank you guys, I wonder if you can put. comments about what you see and find while your videoing your work. 😊
I had a van MB 408, the largest load that I carried on it was 2.7 meters of cubic pine logs. This is about 2.5 tons, with a passport carrying capacity of the van 1.7, only the logs were long and almost 2 meters longer than the length of the van, so it was quite risky to drive because the logs were outweighed from time to time and the front wheels came off the ground. Control was lost instantly.😁

A town I used to live in had an oak that was known to have been planted in 1813, so it was over 200 years when I moved there, and it was not as big as this one. More than a foot smaller in diameter, so I would guess this one to be 300-350 years old.
@@jamespaulsell9385 that’s amazing! I know tree growth varies depending on various factors, but I definitely feel like you’re probably correct. Can you imagine, a tree that’s been around since before our Nation’s independence? So amazing. 💜
My Dad had a McCulloch Pro Mac with a long bar on it and of course I was his helper. We’d go out in the fall and take down two trees. Stack the cord and go pick up the cords we left from last year. My Dad always wore a hat, leathers, gloves and his safety glasses from his normal job, but we never used ear protection. I have tinnitus really bad and I blame a large part of it in being around that noisy saw all day with my ears completely uncovered. He always made me wear jeans, a long-sleeved shirt and my winter boots which had an extremely deep tread on the soles. He always chose the place to park that the car could get out the woods the fastest in case something went wrong and I learned how to drive at a very young age. My Dad was never “flip” with a saw like this guy and he never took chances. My Dad and I were never very close-there were times we wouldn’t say anything for a couple of days. It was just work as fast as you can and don’t do anything stupid enough to get hurt so your mom won’t get upset.
You have to be strong and tough to do work like this and with no boots or pants very thick calloused hands feet and skin. This young man did what he loved and supported those he loved. He supplied others with beautiful wood for exotic unique furniture..... very skillful men
6:25- I would have to find a way to use that section. Not the whole thing, take off a bottom few inches but holy crap that would make an awesome river. Big enough to fit sharks and stuff.

Reminds me of when I was younger and my great grandfather would take me to go around farm property & cut trees out for friends or to remove dead trees‼️ Those were the good ole days ‼️😻
The guide rail being only a quarter of the boards width would to me result in multiplying the runout across the width of the board to the accuracy of the guidance system by a factor of four. Then using the guidance bar as a ladder only defeats its accuracy. With all this in mind the runout from one side of the board to the other appears from the video to be relatively small. Although it is impossible to discern from the video a runout of an eighth of an inch.
