When I was a child, I remember that the sheer size of a blue whale hit me when my teacher told us that a blue whale's tongue is the size of an elephant.
.... for me it was the heart the size of a Volkswagen that stuck with me lol EDIT: It should be OBVIOUS to most people that the whale's damn heart isn't really as big as the car, it's just really freaking big lolol (hundreds of pounds and many feet long!!)
I didn’t realize how big they were until I learned that they are not just the biggest animal on the planet, but the biggest animal in the known history of the planet. No know dinosaur species even compared.
It always makes me feel so old when I remember that I haven’t seen that area of the museum. It was still being built last time I was there. I remember the door was obviously blocked off, But my dad picked me up to peek through a window and they were hanging the whale that day, so I saw a few seconds of them working on rigging it up.
Actually a Fluke is a fish where as a whale is a mammal, unless the fluke was in reference to the luck, either way, I think what we have here is a failure to communicate!
These rulers of the sea are just glorious, peaceful beings that are so in touch with mother nature! Massive amount of love to these titanic, noble creatures!
Yet the still live in world of rope and fishing gear and be hunted by China for research. The were he long be b4 we were the should be lft to live in ocean of world.
Jesus Christ and His creations are beyond incredible!😍God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the name above all names & the only way to Heaven❤
@@PridelessChickz God's creatures have a one way ticket direct to heaven, I'm convinced! We can only trust in the purity of being these and other animals possess.
@@oldi184It’s mind blowing. People casually just mention the creator of the entire universe as some thought we would have. God Is infinite. He’s all of creation.
This visual for me captures something very unique in just how big these amazing creatures are. Imagine a double decker bus cutting through the water like that, over taking you from underneath?! That's power
Well since it would be completely pitch black at night then how would you see a hugh shadow let alone see much anything in the day time if your at water level
Blue whales are actually blue-gray in colour with lighter gray mottling in the form of large spots, which appear as if they were dabbed on with a huge paintbrush. The lower surfaces of the flippers are lighter gray or white in some instances. Also did you know it's impossible to hug a blue whale, that also goes my aunt Kathy, it's funny because it's true,
You can understand now why some people would report sea monsters back in the day had they never seen one of these beautiful creatures. The sheer size and the grace of how they move through the water is incredible.
For me, there is God of the Bible but he is unfair to some individuals and he has Favoritism. Therefore he is not the true God of Love Nor Jesus Nor Allah.
That's a good question. Just know, when they take a breath and desend. It can hold it for 90 mins. But, to circle the global. That's a really good question.
@@user-qn9zc6be6q they are amazing, wish the world showed more love to the ecosystem, I never knew that though thanks for the knowledge, the more you know!!!
Well they have no problem at swimming 25mph for miles but on average cruise along at 12 to 15 mph and swim from the top northern hemisphere down to lower southern hemisphere in the pacific 3 to 4 months and dont stop to eat since they stock up on krill before the long trip so double that time give you a ballpark figure and they are found in all the world's oceans and i believe have 3 different types of ponds of blue Wales based of what general areas they swim
Every where they go...that's why people hate American tourists...they act like they've never seen anything...they will oooo..and ahhh at a damn dog if it's in another country....they oooo and ahhhh Every time they go to a restaurant...everytime they order a drink...it's annoying...they don't realize people are usually laughing at them not with them.....and they can be so loud...no self awareness what so ever....I could go on and on...lol
I want to hug them so bad. Idk what it is but ive always loved the mere thought of being able to see one of the absolutely beautiful leviathans up close, let alone get to pet or hug one. Gentle giants and guardians of the ocean. I absolutely adore these animals with every single part of my being.
What would we've ever freaking done without them 2 telling us that the tail and whale was literally like 7 feet in front of our VERY own 👀, you know just that gigantic ass whale just right there!
As a child I took crayons and started to draw the sea animals in their true size on the street. Some like manta, dolphin, orca and tge biggest was humpback whale. I ran out of time for bigger creatures.
Loved the whale watching (migrating greys with their calfs) field trips...6 years straight, 7th thru 12th grades!! Of course, in between seeing the whales, there were always a couple of kids hurling their guts out over the rails....that was fun, too! Hey, it was all about the science!!😂
imagine getting the chance to experience this and then deciding to watch it through your phone because you want to record it for instagram likes like bruh just enjoy the moment
That right there is why the ocean is effing scary, the size of those things and the fact that if it was just a tiny bit lower you would have no idea it's there gives me the willy's. It's pretty cool though and I would 100% love to see that one day
I saw a blue whale off the coast of Nova Scotia , was such a rare sighting that the captain called in any and all other boats just to catch a glimpse. What a sight
Iv seen a lot of things in my 63 years, but, the most amazing thing iv ever witnessed is the whales in the gulf of Baja swimming yards from our boat with calves in tow.. Absolutely mind blowing..
