Ten years ago a strange hoax gripped the world when hackers were able to hijack television signals and report that zombies are real. ► / eskifymedia ► / eskifymedia ►eskify.com
I can't imagine that there is an over representation of intellectuals among the Steve Wilkos audience lol. I don't think it had so much to do with its geographic location.
These kinds of hacks are super dangerous. Because when the real zombie apocalypse happens, no one will believe it. It's like the boy who cried Wolf, except that it is a zombie this time.
A fellow old person! I didn't live anywhere with the zombie message, but I wish I did. That would have been fun. I was too young to have seen Max Headroom live as it happened, but I'm from the Chicago area, so it was constantly brought up.
@@Fyrdman Oh I know, my point was that there were people who still thought it was real. Even though it was stated the events weren't real there were people who missed that and thought we were being invaded.
I was alive in 2013, but don’t recall hearing of the zombie apocalypse broadcast. Not surprising, I only watched television at night. By the way, I’m from Michigan, USA. 😉
When I saw War of the Worlds as a young boy,It messed with me which was great !.I had already seen the Day the Earth Stood Still and some other classic alien movies but it was color n stuff. When heard the WOTW radio story I lost my mind. I thought it was so cool that people bought it.I had radio recording from the heyday like superman and the shadow and dick tracy so I could see how your imagination really gets into it.Took me years to get acopy of the original Orson Wells recording.Maybe 1982.I was still a kid.Memories I will have the entirety of my life
