It's getting crazy there's so much stuff going on down here so many fights so many people acting like idiots and the worst part is it's all over the island it's not just here in Patong.... It's everywhere..... So sad!
@whyhellotherewithdrmarksabean If you don't like that Mark arent there all sorts of Islands? Hua Hin or any Island that fits the pace you want? From my understanding there are family friendly islands, low pop. Islands, areas with hardly any Ex pats.

After I get my passport for Thailand here in the U.S., is that all I need. That and my drivers license for here in Colorado, than I arrive at like 12:30 AM in Bangkok at the airport. Than what??? Is that where I get my 60 day Visa, is there a cost??? My total stay is going to be 5.5 months. So what do I do next? Than in order to stay an additional 60 days I go to Vietnam or something every 60 days, and or twice??? Please explain like you would to a child
Hey Mate Do you mean just get your regular passport? If so Here's what happens Definitely bring your driver's license.... Do you have a motorcycle endorsement? This is important! Go to AAA and get an INTERNATIONAL DRIVER'S PERMIT!!!... YOU HAVE TO HAVE THIS TO DRIVE HERE IN THAILAND!!!!!! I believe it costs about $25 USD....... BUT AGAIN PLEASE UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE TO GET THAT INTERNATIONAL DRIVER'S PERMIT AT AAA...... When you arrive in Thailand you will be visa exempt. This means they will give you a Visa Stamp in your passport that is good for 60 days! THIS IS FREE!!!!! NO CHARGE.... Before the 60 days are over say on the 58th or even the 59th day you need to go to immigration and extend your stay for 30 more days.... THIS WILL COST YOU 1,900 BAHT which is about 50 US dollars.... To do this my friend you are going to need the following paperwork... A copy of your passport... A copy of your current Visa stamp.... There are photocopies!!! You are also need a passport sized photo of yourself.... You can get these photo copies made at the immigration office as well as the photographs...... Then there is an application form to extend your stay it is very simple to fill out.... That will give you a total of 90 days here in the Kingdom.... At that point yes my friend you will have to go somewhere Cambodia Vietnam Laos Malaysia even Singapore..... You can do a one-day border run there's all kinds of companies that offer that service here and you can come back into the country get your new stamp and stay for another 60 days plus the 30-day extension giving you again 90 full days.... @@secretamericayoutubechanne2961 I’ll just chime in on making copies and laminating your important documents, super important! You will get asked for your passport when changing bills, renting a motorbike, etc. I tried several times to get this done in the US and each time there was a problem (laminating machine fried at Staples for example, ugh lol). I found a print and laminating shop at the bottom of a mall in Ekkamai on Sukhumvit (super cheap and quick to do all). Keep them in my bag with Intl Driver’s Permit from AAA. Takes a big mental load off …definitely don’t want to be losing your passport. I laminated my Thai visa, passport (biometrics and visa page), US Driver’s license, and Intl Driver’s License.
Yup, and be sure the immigration office is open if you wait until last day on a 30 day renewal after the 60 day original visa, and isn't closed for a holiday. Or is immigration office open for holidays, Mark?

And I d love to buy you a beer, and maybe even give you 20$ to help find me a dirt cheap studio apartment for a few months on the outskirts of Patong and I can buy and ride a bicycle too the beach. You said where you stay is like 300$ (U.S.) per month year round??? We can also go to Freedom Beach and pick up chicks. ⛱️

Hey Sean yeah it really sucks because if you see what's going on in Bali right now they are so fed up with the way the people are acting... Not just the government but the locals as well and we're experiencing the same thing down here I've noticed people their attitudes have changed dramatically.... Thankfully I have a very good reputation and I'm respected by almost everyone that I know because I shall respect to them.... Phuket so brutal..wow..I keep hearing so many stories of things going on in Patong and other close cities. This, the floods in Kamala, the students at Surin, fire in Karon. Just so much going on right now it’s crazy!

Hey Mark not compared to what it used to be.... And I'm not sure if you've been following along in the news or not but Bali is experiencing a nightmare with the tourists down there. The government last year actually started rejecting people's Visa applications from certain countries. They've changed the laws for driving bikes down there for foreigners. And they've actually started deporting people for even small traffic offenses. So the Bali comment the Bali comment is a direct result of what's going on down there right now. As a matter of fact I believe 135 people have been deported from Bali in the last 6 months alone.... Cheers mate 🍻
