I am almost 80 and right now, not allowed to drive. Each day, I try to have something to look forward to, and on Wed and Sunday , that thing is your video.:). Also on Sunday, worship online.
Whenever I find a small dish or plate and cannot find the rest of the set, I think to myself, that would make such a perfect little trinket dish for keys or rings. I realized the other day I probably had 25 trinket dishes and I never put my keys on any of them ,my keys hang on a hook by the door and I rarely take my rings off 😂🤣I just can’t help myself when it comes to cute little dishes or plates. Do we love a cute trinket dish? Yes we do ha ha 😂
Many moons ago I got in a car accident and my water bottle straw went right through my eyelid! 😅 Nice to finally relate to someone else who had a straw injury! 😂 I hope you have a speedy recovery! ♥️
I never understood the concept of decor trends. It takes time to collect and curate a home that is truly unique and one's personal style. It never occurred to me to make an aesthetic decision for my home based on trends but I'm sure many do.
I’m a broken recored. I only come on to tell you how much I love watching your channel and your sense of humor is so witty! I like to change out different plates on my stove for a spoon rest. That’s where I would put the raven plate for the fall.😊
Karen. I watch EVERY video of yours. You’re one of my favorite RU-vidrs. I am retired and use my eBay income to supplement my income. I sell antiques and collectibles. I have learned so much from you. I especially like when you tell us why you pick up a certain item or why you left it behind. I,also, like your laid back, friendly personality and your fun interactions with Roger make me smile. Thank you so much for all your help and entertainment. ❤
The gold butterfly Corelle plates remind me so much of my childhood:). They were our every day dishes. My grandmother hated them, lol. She only used Franciscan dinnerware- she owned the starburst, desert rose & apple patterns & used different sets for different occasions. 😊 Thanks for the nostalgia. ❤your videos!! xo
Oh my, Karen. That beautiful rustic bird bath would absolutely be so nice in your gorgeous back yard, near the flowers and bushes, along the fence line !! You don't have to clean it up!! It looks perfect as it is !! Thank you, for this wonderful video !! Mrs. Becker, in Kemah, Texas ❤
The bird bath is adorable. Can't believe the workers put it on a high shelf, seems like an accident waiting to happen. But I guess they wanted to make sure it was seen.
@@deborahstone9696 Yes, I can understand and appreciate that. Just thought heavier items would be harder for individuals to get down without possibly hurting themselves. I stand 5'10", so top shelves are my gold mine.😄❤❤
I enjoy your videos with my morning coffee. I have wanted to buy things from you, but the shipping these days is just too high to get it from you on the east coast to me on the Island off the west coast of Canada. So I watch, and support that way. Honestly Karen, you ding your head, and now your face. You need danger pay for this job. 😊👋
😂 My boyfriend goes thrift store shopping with me and he always says Rae Dunn is so overdone! 😂 I found a creamer once that had a steer design on it half price for $1.25 at my local Goodwill and sold it for $500! So most of it is not something I would pick up but you never know....
I watch a gal from Michigan. Flea market rescue. Her name is Sherry. You would love her videos. Anyway, she can’t keep enough re-done on her shelves in her little store. She’s always picking it up.
The bird bath can be used as an insect waterer. Put sand and rocks in it. Fill with water, just enough so there’s no standing water and maybe a fruit slice on a rock. Bees, butterflies etc. will visit.
I look forward to each new video! I was at Goodwill today (I live in Maine) and found two beautiful lamps for $4 each! I said out loud, “Do we love a pair of matching lamps for $8? We do!” They each retail for $128! Always learning 🥰
@@deborahstone9696 how bad was it there!? I went to two of their concerts last year, both outdoors and both stormed. The 2nd one we went to announced several times for us to seek shelter. They still played. It must have been super awful where they were today! 😱
I have been watching your videos for some time now and I want to say that I have learned so much about thrifting and reselling from you. I enjoy seeing the thrift stores you shop and seeing what kind of merchandise available in your area. So different from here in Arizona. Thank you for all your expertise and look forward to seeing your videos.
🤩So happy to see you Karen👏❣ I too cannot wait to see that you have a new video. I hurry and make a cup of tea sit at my laptop, and enjoy every bit of what matters to you.😍🥰
Sundays and 30:26 Wednesdays are not complete without watching you and Roger. I most always hit that subscribe and follow/all buttons, UNLÈSS, I am watching the video on TV only. The bird bath is really cute for anyone's backyard. See you next time, with Roger perhaps. 😅😅😅
The birdbath is very nice. You got some goodies today. Better to be happy with what you have than to have lots and not happy with the items!! Thanks for sharing!!
Subaru is a Japanese company so that might be one reason, not sure - but what a great video today! Subaru means "unite" by the way (said by a longtime Subaru driver!)
Those mugs are adorable! I just got my blue top in the mail yesterday....it is gorgeous. I will go to ebay and give you many stars after I watch your video.
You've inspired me to start reselling. Nothing like the volume you sell but 50ish items listed. I'm having so much fun! Thank you for your videos. You and Roger are the best!
The Noah's Ark character with the little animals his ark was painted on the back of him I saw it on the first video that he was in when you looked at the price tag😂
I love watching resellers from across the country because a gal I watch who’s in Michigan, I believe, sells Rae Dunn like hotcakes and gets so excited when she finds one lol
So do I, I did not watch a month ago, there was one video that had too much chatting and gave me anxiety, otherwise, I have seen them all, the ones of the teeth implants and all! 😊
Why DO thrift stores always cover over brand names and labels? Does anyone know? Vintage items that still have original stickers on them command better prices, but they often come off when the store price tag is removed. I really don't understand why this practice is beneficial to thrift stores. Another great video, Karen! Thank you!
Karen you and Roger are my absolute favs! You are so relatable and love many of the same things as me❣Wednesday and Sunday without fail…love you guys and sorry about your fat lip:(😊❤❤❤❤
Threshold is Target. I bought about 20 of those plates off Marketplace, in different colors and designs, and sold all but 4. I made a great profit on them. One alone I'm not sure. I sold mine in lots.
Long tail???? You have a long tail? ahahah so cute you are so sweet ahahah...there was a scene where you were very serious and suddenly I saw a lady in the background with a poodle in a stroller and I was rolling around laughing ahahahah
I had corelle set for 10 years . Used everyday. With 3 kids. Only one bowl broke because they took on concrete. I think it was harvest. Loved them. Finally sold because I had so long.
I've had my Corelle dishes for 40 years, raised three children on them. They're very sturdy; when one of the bowls hit concrete once, it shattered. Only had one break in all those years. They're lightweight and nest tightly. Do I love my Corelle? Yes, I do!
Every video! Of course we wait on every video! Love coming along with you, sometimes it's my only time out! LOL! Those brass candle sticks new, never had felt on the bottome, My hubby bought me a set back in 1379 :)
i watch you religiously!! its crazy how you will find something ive never seen and ill go out thrifting and i find the same exact thing! its crazy!! you’re my lucky charm and ive learned sooo much watching you and rodger too!
I think plastic is added to the interior of birdbath because it lengthens its life making it more durable. Concrete can become brittle and break when exposed to extreme outdoor temperatures. Great video Karen, we just love a new video! ❤
