Serbia is ranked #5 in the world for gun ownership, you're seeing lots of AK-47s in the video because it's sort of a common weapon in whole of Eastern Europe, lots of people kept their guns after the war and those AKs are Serb-made (Zastava Arms - they still make good AKs today and export them to USA)
it actually comes from the bible because after the flood the first bird that was let out to find land was a raven and it brought bad new (no land). It just stuck in Serbia from that time passing through generations and that's why that bird is looked at like "bad" bird in the whole world.. it's an archetype
@@skonsonreactions6012 Two headed eagle is an old Serbian symbol and it's stolen from some tribes for their flags, but basically its Serbian for centuries
I love the just the fact that two guys from England are so interested about the Balkans and our music(hope you are learning the history too) and you are expressing it trough here...I heard in another video that you already visited Serbia and thats nice too,go to see the world from "the third world" :D and the people and the surrounding here...You are doing a good job and continue with this ! :D Love from Macedonia !!
Actually song is about aftermath of the 90s. Story takes place around 2007-2010, after the most feared gang “Zemun clan” was wiped out in 2003, the new boss(Luka Bojovic) gathered some of old members again, and restore it. They rose to power once again, killing everyone. Luka Bojovic was finally arrested in 2012. He was a son of Vuk Bojovic, a well-known, respected and loved person, a manager of Belgrade zoo, he had nothing to do with crime. But Luka admired Arkan(crime boss from 90s, who had his own army that participated in Balkan wars), so in mid 90s he went to join his army. Video starts with Vuk meeting Arkan, in his training center. Vuk came there to ask Arkan to talk Luka out of the idea of joining war, since he was still too young back then. If i’m not mistaken Arkan agreed, but Luka still remained in that life, cousing pain to his father and at the end even loosing his brother
Rainbow colored eyes is one of the most famous songs of euro dance performer Dr Iggy (I think it was released in '93 or '94). This track was banging in that time period with ongoing war in ex Yugoslavia and criminals going wild in Belgrade and rest of Serbia. The song original title is : "oči boje duge"... And the part when Bore sings BLAKA BLAKA (shooting from the dark) is not Balkan Balkan 😂 he just imitates. the sound of firing weapon.. Props to you guys for reviewing these songs! You are a ton of fun every time! 👍🍻
Serbia has great club songs and I think you'd like Crni sin (it means black son) and Biseri iz blata (pearls from the mud) which are both from Coby and have a great message. Also try Koraci u noći (footsteps in the night). Croatia has some great trap music. I recommend you listen to Otrova u čaj (poison in tea), Medalje (medals) and Blud (sounds stupid but it means fornication). Love your reactions and I hope you keep enjoying our music.
Huge respect guys 4 doing this. All i got 2 say is when u feel our rap, it means that we doing it good. Your reaction on this song is 4 soundtrack 4 episodes about "Zemunski Klan" Zemunski Clan was the biggest clan on the whole Balkan, bcuz the government made them. They were small criminals in early 90s, and when Milosevic was taken down, and we bring "democracy" in our country, Zemunski Clan was in their prime. Some of them had police badges, and some scenes in this video r real footage, some r reconstructions of real scenes. Zemunski Clan murder more then 30 people like in this scenes in the day hours, they didn't wait dark, they did it purposely in daylie hours so they can leave the message 4 other smaller gangs. It was fu**ed up in 90s, but also was fu**ed up in early 2000s. We still have same shit 2day, u know how every country works 😔 Again.... Huge respect 4 u guys, and i think u should come here, we have good things here 2. Good looking girls 😉😉😉 good clubs, good food 2. And ur welcome here brothers..... ✌and respect
This track is made for document serie called 'Dosije', made for Tv Prva. Even first track 'Ides za Kanadu' is made for the first episode of that documentary. You can't understand the whole thing coz it is history of disaster and destroying Balkan countries, onced called Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia 'died' in civil wars through 90's and paramilitary forces ruled that wars. It was bloody all over Croatia, Bosnia-which has real war on it's terithory. From that paramilitary forces (made by internal police forces-communist invention) began to raise new 'force' in Serbia, mafia clans. Those clans gained new businesses, like drugs, man traffiking and weapon traffiking, and become 'force-over-forces', even stronger than police and military. So, this documentary explains what they did and how cruel they was in theirs climbing up on top of the clans. Some footages are real, from police recorders, but most is a filming in purpose of bringing real picture of what trully happens in or out clans.
Actualy the scene where they let off shots from the Audi with police lights was a recreation of a real assassination attempt from 2004 (or some time like that). They came with police lights in a Audi in real life too, they killed 1 guard and wounded the actual target who was sitting in the pasenger seat. It was a well known type of Assassination in Serbia back in the time, by the Zemun Clan, and it was called the Audi of death. They would then ditch the Audi and most of the times burn it completely. In this case, they ditched the audi and highjacked a random car going on the highway.
Also the reason they use AKs was because those are Serbian produced AKs, there is shitloads of them since too many people just kept them after the war instead of returning them (illegal, but who gives a shit), good firepower, and easy to come by. I can almost guarantee its easier to find and buy an AK than a Glock in Serbia. Also there are very very few households that dont own atleast 1 gun (either legaly or illegaly, tho there are probably more illegal ones tbh hahah)
6:42 not stuff that is going but stuff that was going during 90's and early 2000's this song was made for documetary about mafia clans and some of the scenes in this video recreated what really happened and also you have some real scenes like in 7:14
If Im correct song is mostly based on assassination of Andrija Draskovic ... in those years secrete agency and crimanls worked in a close ties (I mean they always work lmao) but at that time it was more open and it was in days of Civil wars in Balkan and shortly afther it , Overall ''Ides za Kanadu'' song also desribe a part of secrete agency group (who where also a criminal group). They would just show up with grey audi ,and everyone would panic because some assassination is going on. There would assassinate mostly those who opose those who rule Serbia ,and also they would kill those who do too much problems ,or being out of control of Serbia Secrete Agency... In the end same group afther assassination of Serbian prime minister Zoran Djindjic was killed and some where sent in jail. I know there is many theory whatever them or some other Secrete agency( Europe or USA) was rensponsible for death of Djindjic ,but that group was accused for doing that. So overall song ''Krvavi Balkan'' wich means ''Bloody Balkan'' and ''Ides za Kanadu'' wich means ''You go for Canada'' ... it was phrase that criminal used for those who are about to be killed ,cuz Canada was far away and considered of being cold ... when someone is dead he is cold and far (soul) away - hell or Heaven. So yea songs are mostly about those groups and the terror wich they spread in those years.
If u want to hear something from way back (9 years ago) mikri maus &bvana - crno vs belo Or 11yrs ago Bad Copy- idemo odma Sve Barabe- Na adi RMX i think u would like it Enjoy :)
You must react coby - crni sin. I believe they are translations on RU-vid somewhere... But yeah. BTW so you can understand our mentality, for a serb or in general a yugo the most important thing overall in life is family. We kill for them and do everything. In the Balkans it is a hard life if you don't have the money which most of us don't so the only thing we have is our strong ties to culture music religion and of course family. That's the only things left for us. Pozdrav brace is beca✌️
Yh it’s kinda mad how there’s always AKs in the music videos, but it’s coz it was one of the most common guns during the wars in the 90s. That’s why you’ll keep hearing “kalaš” (short for Kalashnikov) in Serbian rap songs. Also it’s made by Serbian arms manufacturer “zastava”
Bloody was a curse word or expression for anger (annoyance) for a long time. Here, it has modern, literal meaning, "covered with blood" or "bloodied". But I would say that we live in bloody (damn) Balkan, however you translate it :)) This song has no deeper meaning, it's made for documentary about real criminals, called "Dosije" ((Criminal) Case). Show was about a gang Zemunski Clan (Zemun, part of the Belgrade, about 100k population) that was selling drugs, killing, kidnapping, making deals with corrupted politicians and police in 2000-2003 year period. They were all liquidated in one police action. I'll surely make someone angry but I have to say this. Serbia and Montenegro have very small, insignificant, criminal rate, comparing to USA or any bigger western country (number of murders in last few years was ~90 and in the beginning of 2000's it was around 150-200 murders). That's bad but not very bad for a poor, ex communist country with 7 million population (USA have more than 19 thousand murders in 2020.). Most of the crimes in general are thefts, family violence (much bigger problem than gangsters) and other violence that sometimes end with death. Also, there are always one or two per few years mass shooting maniacs or some other specific case. But time from time, we have some criminal groups made of people who watched Scarface too many times or just psychopaths (like Belivuk and Miljković with their meat grinding machine). Or....Škaljarski Clan (gang) is from village near Kotor, Montenegro, with population of 3.5 thousand, and Kavački Clan is from village just across motorway, with population of 350 people. But they smuggle cocaine for bigger cartels or gangs, usually steal and get killed. Soon, they'll be all dead and replaced with some other gang. When you listen our songs, it seams like we live in some kind of jungle but it's even worst. Living with 300 or 400 euros for month is criminal, but it's state/system (we are fully dependent of West) criminal.
you know I never meet in person anyone that listen to this- this - Nucci and Elena- do not have anything in common- Now I'm looking at youtube, apparently, the song is 3 years old- and I would not survive without it....my 2014-2015- all trouble of Genetical clearance
Like u can see in this video, this is about late '90 in Serbia. If u look closely the killers are in marked police car. And this is happen a lot. A lot of killers was actuly a cops, thats why some murders was never investigated. A lot of mafia Bosses was a high ranking state security officers and high ranking police officers..
Still I am thinking...brother on left loves his brother on right so much :-) I love u guys so much..maybe u should give us some different tunes and of course comments... hugs and kisses....

Tokom sastanka dogovorili su se da luka ostane u erdutu ali samo da trenira nove regrute i da ne ide na front. Is a Documentary about Criminal and Mafia they are many Gang who killed other Gang for Money, Power and more. Some scene is a real video but most of the scene are making afterward with some Actor for a Criminal Show called "Dosije" like Criminal Files in Serbia.
Also this song is created for Dosije TV series that was created from real shootouts and happenings(idk if this word makes sense lol) in Serbia that happened if I'm not wrong.
