Syndicated promo of John Davidson's short-lived version of the $100K Pyramid
Unlike Dick Clark's version that lasted longer, Davidson's version lasted only one calendar year split into 2 short seasons, ending abruptly in December of 1991.

My neck of the woods - Greenville/Spartanburg/Anderson/Asheville didn't get this show but Charlotte had it on both WCNC 36 (1st season) and WCCB Fox 18 (2nd season), and Atlanta had it on WATL Fox 36 (don't know if it had both seasons or not).

2nd season of Davidson's Pyramid didn’t last, it abruptly ended in December of 1991.

*YESSSS!!!* I totes remember this promo!! In my neck of the woods, though, it was KXAS Channel 5 (Dallas/Fort Worth) @ 11:30a.

In MY neck of the woods, the Clark $100K Pyramid aired on WAVE every afternoon at 4:30pm immediately following John Davidson’s Hollywood Squares (before Win, Lose or Draw, and, later, The New Newlywed Game, replaced it at that timeslot) and on WDKY every afternoon at 12:30pm immediately following Love, American Style (before it was replaced by Wipeout (the Peter Tomarken-hosted one, not the John Anderson/John Henson-hosted one) at that timeslot on the same station, immediately following Hollywood Squares), and the Davidson $100K Pyramid aired on WBNA every weeknight at 7:30pm.

Given Feud was on at 4PM on this station, and given the game shows that crashed and burned in Fall 1990, Pyramid probably replaced one of the Fall 1990 shows that came and went quickly. Tic Tac Dough and Quiz Kids CHallenge's last new episodes had aired by this point.
