MARDI HIMAL, NEPAL: We're feeling exhausted, hungry, dirty and now, sleep deprived on day 3 of our Mardi Himal trek. We had some visitors in our room during the night. On this day, we made our way from Forest Camp, to Low Camp - a steady increase in altitude to just under 3000m. The days are warm, but the nights are very cold and so there's a balance between staying cool in the afternoon whist walking, but warm in the night when trying to relax.
Thankfully, our bodies have been up to the test so far and so we've had no issues with our fitness or the altitude.
