The $35 CoolShark JK02 “Cooling" Telescopic Game Controller for Android, iOS, Switch, and PC 

I know this isn’t a legitimate test, cooling through plastic. This is all I had at the time because my phone was doing the filming.

The fact that this is 2-3x cheaper than the gamesir x3 which is the only other telescopic controller that I know of with the Peltier cooler is amazing

I bought this joypad and it arrived in my hands today, it is well built according to its price, also the sticks have a fairly acceptable dead zone, but what impressed me most was its cooling capacity, my phone got very hot when I executed certain emulators, with the joypad heatsink running, the temperature dropped drastically. It also has vibration motors, something that is not very common in this type of joypads, I personally recommend it, it is a cheap device, but it has too many features to pass up

I had the controller for a few days, and so far, so good 👍🏾.. The only issue I have is using the NetherSX2 emulator. The D-pad gets a bit wonky, but I think if I keep tweaking the settings, I'll get it fixed. I mostly play that with my phone in DEX mode anyway. When I first got it, I thought it was a bit flimsy, but once I put in my phone, it felt surprisingly sturdy. I did find a workaround for my biggest complaint about the cooler having to be plugged in to work. I purchased a real light weight portable charger on Prime Day that fits easily in my pocket and the total was still only half the price of the X3 ( which also requires the cooler to be plugged in)..😁 I am currently satisfied. I just bought this controller. I use the asus rog 6. I was really loving the kunai 3 gamepad asus builds specifically for asus devices however my charging port no longer works so i can't use usbc controllers anymore. I count myself lucky for having a phone with an extra charging port on the side of the phone😂😂. The gamesir controllers excluding the x2 pro have a nice key mapping feature to provide you with controller support for games like *codm, pubg, and genshin impact that don't offer controller support. Put the * next to codm cuz it does provide controller support with xbox controllers for any phone. Ios u can basically use any controller on codm with their native controller support. With Android it gets a little complicated. Aside from the xbox controller any other controller will not work, especially the gamepad style ones for your phone, unless u have one of the much newer model Androids like the last couple Samsung high end models that recently released. However I'm glad to have a device that codm can't recognize that i have controller connected cuz once u set up the key mapping it's essentially replicating the touch inputs so amazingly u get touch lobbies in ranked. Anybody who has played codm on controller and has ranked up significantly such as grand master and legendary u know u can no longer que into rank lobbies. Casual gamers find it inconvenient that 90% of Androids don't have access to codm native controller support but i absolutely love it. Controller players also know codm controller sense even maxed out is not nearly enough. If u have one of these controllers that can't be detected, download an app for the key mapping mantis pro is prolly your best bet, like i said it's replicating touch so using touch sense allowing for u to have access to much higher sense than reg controller players. This is somewhat of a loop hole for Android users only and they're starting to fix this loophole in newer models so imma hold on to this phone for awhile so i can exploit this bug. Alas, key mapping is better than the controller support that the game offers cuz codm does not allow u to change your controls. For instance slide and jump is O+X or B+A meaning u have to take your thumb off the analog stick in order to perform movement commands. I put jump and slide on the analog clicks(R3+L3) making sweaty movement much more viable. Slide on R3 is perfect cuz to hit slide cancels u just click the the right analog and turn the right analog. R1 for weapon switch and L1 for prone. In addition to using controller also have gyroscope enabled. If anybody wants to see how good I've become putting my big brained gamer knowledge to use i have videos on my yt channel using everything mentioned in the video. And you can tell codm isn't recognizing me using controller cuz it won't show the controller buttons on my hud. I get this controller in the video tomorrow so I'll do an update to let ya know how I like it

I am really considering purchasing this controller, but I have 1 question I can't find and answer to. Does the fan has to be plugged in to work?

I have recently bought the BSP-D8, is this worth having than BSP D8? I was amazed that this one has cooling, I should have searched this earlier. Also does this controller supports X-input mode on Bluetooth? Nice Review.

Hi Nick, the R2/L2 Triggers aren’t analog right?

Well, unfortunately, I have to return the controller. The problem was not with any emulator or game. It has a weird problem. The left stick sends input signals as the d-pad and the d-pad does the same for the stick. I've used a few on-line calibration programs and apps to fix the problem. It actually works until the device is powered off, then it's back to the way it was once I reconnect. I'm just waiting to hear from the seller..

Hello, I liked your video, excellent work, I was looking for a review of this gamepad, I have a question in games like Call of Duty Mobile, would the option be placed in Xbox or direct mode, correct? But in games like Pubg Mobile, can the application map the game? does it have that function?

I just got this stupid controller I got it and try connecting it shows as jk02 ota and I try connecting via the moowii app and it says it is detected in upgrade state and keeps failing how do I fix this?

So I got this controller to use with my galaxy z fold 5, but I am having a super difficult time connecting it. When I connect it, it connects as a keyboard and not a controller? And it seems I can only use the controller with button mapping software? Is there not a way to just use this as a normal bluetooth controller? I tried a test with cod mobile (gonna use for emulation, this is just a test) and it would not register the joystick movements properly, and other buttons only worked when mapped to screen buttons (does not work when I try to connect as a bluetooth controller in cod settings either)
