The interesting thing about 2G is it's incredible range compared to the newer network standards These are the longest ranges I've seen on Telstra while still being able to make a call or use data are 2G 90km (220km offshore) 3G 20km (35km offshore) 4G 15km 5G 2km 5G 0.3km (mmWave) Using an external antenna could easily double those numbers 2G had a 2W handset transmission power limit, it would kill your battery, but 2G worked almost everywhere 3G was dropped to around 0.7W because of the tin foil hat people, causing the range to take a huge hit (in addition to the range loss from the higher frequencies used) 4G was dropped to 0.5W and uses even higher frequencies 5G was dropped AGAIN to 0.25W and runs at even higher frequencies, killing the range even more, and mmWave runs at such a high frequency that no amount of transmission power would make it work inside If the tin foil hat people didn't whinge about phones causing ball cancer or whatever, phones would probably still work out in the middle of nowhere, in fact there are rural areas where they get literally zero network coverage after the 2G shutdown, even though the tower they were using was upgraded to 4G, purely because the handset itself doesn't have enough transmission power to reach the tower at those higher frequencies In my opinion, 2G should've been removed from cities, but kept for rural and outback areas, either that or ACMA needs to increase the 4G handset power limit to 2W (and add provisions to increase it to 3-4W if a 000 call is being placed)
4 SIMS and a rave light, it's a phone for Drug Dealers ! 😩 Don't worry about it being sold out, I don't think we want to buy it. I'm glad RRR is still proudly flying the freak flag 😂 It looks like the official phone of the Ghanian Space Force 👍
I had the same thought when he wondered what the use would be for having four sim slots. Reminded me of a time a coworker mentioned he had two phones and I went, "Why the hell do you have two phones? What are you - a drug dealer?"
@@psychorabbitt well tbh, here in the states its normal to have a work phone and a every day phone in some cases 3 phones. like the 3rd phone would be used for 2FA and security stuff.
@@SilverX95 I'm in the states and that's not exactly common. I have to use 2FA for my job and it's all on my personal phone (because I'm not important enough to rate a company phone).
It doesn't look like Ferrari because it's Ferari :-D They were smart enough to flip the logo and remove one r from the name so they do no no with copyrights or trademarks :-D
What a missed opportunity, no shortwave radio functionality? After going to all that trouble to make it look like a walkie talkie, they could have made this thing genuinely useful.
There was a drug dealer phone from 2006 that actually looked a lot like this: The NEXTEL i605 by Motorola. That's where the icons and general design are ripped from. But unlike this, it's ringtones weren't ripped from iPhones and, instead of a power bank, the i605 actually had a working walkie-talkie called NEXTEL DirectConnect. This thing has clearly gone backwards from its NEXTEL/Motorola forefathers... 😂
Mmm... I hear a very loud and crunchy deep-fried audio while listening to the ringtone of that phone. *THE SPEAKER IS SO WONDERFUL, AND IT BLEEDS MY EARS!*
Thank you so much for your reviews, mate. You are a Great guy. Your Channel is my favorite. Look forward to each of your Videos, the longer the better 😊.
For everyone saying that it’s a drug dealer phone because of the 4 SIM card slots, as an ex-drug dealer I can confidently say that I have never had any need for 4 SIM cards. 2 SIMs have always been more than enough, and even then, I would never have them in the same device, because the whole purpose of a burner phone is to be able to “burn” it without losing anything of value, or personal.
Greetings from Finland :) ive been watching your videos long time. When i feel anxious etc they really calm me down, thank you bro ❤️ but i just wanted to ask, where do you livestream?because in youtube i dont get any notifications
The photos this phone takes are good for one thing at least. They remind us just how great modern smartphone cameras are, even on fairly low end phones.
Lol omg that looks like a toy phone. That ringtone you did in the beginning of the video was so loud that it destroyed my ears. It’s not your fault, blame the person who made it. Who would be using four sims? Also, love how you called the speaker spurker lol. You killed the phone lol.
the crossed out bin typically means don't throw the device in the general waste, it's not about the paper products. This phone is... interesting, wish the big companies were more creative these days so we could have high quality fun devices not just generic bricks. edit: not that I'd ever use 4 sims but if I had to hazard a guess why someone would want to use 4 maybe they run more than one business, then want to have one for family and friends and just have a throw away number. idk. seems too much to me esp with the phone bills to keep them all active.
Hey Smoorez, just wondering whether you could dump the files of the DJ1000 phone in the video, because I bought a model and I really need to see what format the games are using... It's neither Java or Nes, and I have a suspicion they are HTML games?!
@Jesús David Restrepo Valdés can you give me a link? Also I have no idea how to get deeper into the device's firmware, or what program to use in order to do so.
@Jesús David Restrepo Valdés I am a little scared about bricking the phone so I will just do some research, I also found the mrp game archive on the Internet Archive but the servers are down so I will try tomorrow
That's weird, the light circuit board at 41:41 looks like it has white light diodes on it. I wonder why they're not accessible in the menus? Neat idea to have a warm white diffused ring light built into the phone, despite how bad the camera might be...
I used to make music from like 2015 to 2018 or something. Used to do a lot of Electronic music but never went anywhere with it. Every release of mine is online somewhere. Just have to find it lol
Smoorez's, you should totally make an Apple Music and or Spotify account and upload your and maybe fan music as well. I think that would be pretty cool and all of your music would be in one or two places.
i'm frikin crying so damn loud, this sh!t is a clusterf*ck of a bunch of things that are not even in the same sector! just a really cheap crap that's for sure. anyway, have you ever considered upload your songs? they are cool af, i would really love to listen to them
" A telescope in outback Western Australia has been used to listen to a mysterious cigar-shaped object that entered our Solar System late last year. The unusual object-known as 'Oumuamua-came from another solar system, prompting speculation it could be an alien spacecraft. "So astronomers went back through observations from the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) telescope to check for radio transmissions coming from the object between the frequencies of 72 and 102MHz -similar to the frequency range in which FM radio is broadcast. " Might explain what you tuned into
Satoshi Kon that artist. "artist"? Not sure if music. I still listen to that, but i have no idea if it's music or just refined white noice. The genre is called noice, and it's descriptive i guess. Pleasant if you get used to it but horrible until then.
You shou,d for a video come to anywhere in Canada, bring one of your welcome devices that you want to test here, get a Chadian SIM card, and test online functionality, as we still have 2g. I feel like that would be a cool video or live stream.
Please buy and review android tv box cheap Like MXQ Pro i see that tv box about 22 dollar for 8GB ram and 128GB rom I don't know that is real or fake ram rom So please buy and test show real information ram rom android version....... I for one can say yes Canada Post is dog sht but they are the only local parcel and mail service that shouldn't be privatized and should run the exact same as USPS but we don't, hell the mail for my area has to drive 4 hours just to have it come back to the area for delivery
17:15 that's not what that symbol means. The symbol means you are are not supposed to throw it in your household garbage can and you are supposed to recycle it.
