Beautiful cars but my god they love their leaks. I had mine oil leak free for months and now the sump gasket has decided it wants to start weeping. Luckily for me my coolant system is 100% leak free

Only real downside to the xi platform is that it’s a little harder to reach things because of extra components, and the front control arms and bushings are much more expensive than the RWD version. Other than that they’re pretty robust.
Yah I could’ve just done the cheap route. But I just wanted to help the guy out. He’s been great through all of this and paid for the parts. So a couple hours labor I think was worth it. Every flip comes with my tail light guarantee. Once I see the tail lights….. but occasionally I don’t mind helping out a new enthusiast.
