Man, people are harsh. I already have the hardware & was looking for doors so the fact that you have price without the hardware is what I was looking for. I found someone to make them for me for $225 or to buy the whole kit from a store for over $600. So even if it's more than $60, it will still be great for me to do it myself. And you show me how to do it without the extra tools that other videos use. I totally appreciate this video. Thanks. I'll try to remember to post again & let you know how it goes.

This book is Awesome! I love the Lean-To-Shed the most (page 98). The plan ru-vid.comUgkxo4aMFkUegBx-KHPIJlfwKPHu7kQXAR9N is to attach it to the back of my brick house. I also like how they walk you through the many different steps of construction, which is important for the less experienced like me.

Finally, a video so well done that you can be a beginner and still come out with a great looking project. I appreciate the way you break everything down and the camera work is impeccable. Thank you so much for your time and the tutorial. Definitely going to try this for myself.

thank you, for helping people make simple projects that they can adapt to their own needs. you will always have haters and angry people who judge the unimportant things. momma always said, if you cant say anything nice, don't say anything at all. (watch all the haters comment, lol) wood can be cheap or free, hard-wear can be made from scraps and can be bought very cheap, you don't have to buy kits at places like home depot etc, be creative and have fun. people, they are also showing that anyone without many of the tools and equipment we use in the shop, can still build great projects without having a huge shop full of tools, tables, saw horses etc. cheap and simple.....thats the point here.....the cheap and simple people seem to be the biggest haters lol. but i still love you all anyways. be the change you wish to see. love the videos as well, nice music, unlike some videos who force us to listen to the sounds of construction and or speeded up videos with horrible sounds, like i need to hear your saw running....lol.

You guys are great. I did the Farmhouse Table w/ bench (just longer) and it turned out great (always get compliments on it). When the weather breaks I plan on doing the Giant Jenga project (I'm also doing a big, not giant, chess board for an outside game area). But this one might be the one I've been waiting on. We have an opening that's too small (because of a wall and thermostat) for one big barn door and it never hit me to do two (even though I've seen cabinets with two sliding doors). So, now I might surprise my wife and do this set up...THANKS!

Hello friends, I am French and I discovered your channel a few days ago. It is the kind of channel that is convivial and practical that we lack in France. The advantage for someone who does not speak your language is that he can read the reviews of the different stages. I would like to translate your videos to make them accessible to my compatriots but this is impossible because your videos do not allow it. Can you authorize the translation so that all Francophones can view them. This will surely increase your subscribers! Thanks for the time spent making these beautiful tutorials :) A bientôt

thank you for all your efforts, and for sharing your projects. My fiancée and I have completed several, and we've even modified several others to further customize our design needs; you've helped us work cohesively on a common project that we can both appreciate. Expense and logistics are near precise, so we delve into these with confidence. We've shared these with friends and family as well. Keep them coming, please. Just one tiny, itty bitty caveat... Please, for the love of all that is holy, consider a bit of diversity on the background music; lol, seriously dude, i'm cringing. Great job, both of you; thanks again.

Great job with video and doors. I agree with other comments...most people typically don't have stain/poly. Between that/brush/wood i don't see $60. Just a suggestion...when you advertise a price for a project, put those prices next to your material list. Not hating...I think everyone out there needs to realize these projects cost more money and time than people realize. Thanks! How2q

Thoughts or videos on finishing the casing on a newly framed wall? I’m putting a pantry in the kitchen which is just installing a single wall with a door opening. So that leaves me with drywall into an exposed stud. Not sure if I just put a piece of flat 1x and then trim out the rest or what. Thanks for the video, I’m making these for the pantry door, super happy with the tutorial!

Great video (music muted!). After making many custom pair of barn doors, I should point out that what is not shown. When you make the middle cut on the second diagonal brace, you aren’t going to do it with ANY miter saw that I know about (without it being dangerous). Did you use a hand saw, circular saw, radial arm, or (as I do) a tapering jig on a table saw? Also, that center cut, if exact, only needs to be done once as the other side should match up with the opposite side of the first cross brace. BTW - your doors do look great.

the 1x10s aren't to pricey, about 10 bucks each, but you can buy 1X8 tongue and groove knotty pine boards for 6.50 each, using those you could get all that wood for and the framing wood for under $40, then stain would cost you around $10, if you want to polly it, that's another $13, and you could get the hardware off amazon for $40 to $50, my best guess would be about $120 for the complete job
