A classic cr250 and a 2nd gen crv. Your a man of culture i see lol. Plan to find a 94-96 cr250 to convert to a supermoto soon. But most people in PA want 2 or 3 grand🤦🏾♂️
I own a 2004 Cr 250 , Mine always hard starts , takes lots of kicks till it starts up and then it rides fine . It has a smart carb on it that was built for a 40:1 ratio but i run it at 32:1 . I haven’t checked the spark plug yet , the premix is the gas tank is about 6 weeks old . What gives ??? haha .
Needs a lot of work but looks like a good start though, could you do a vid on how you vapour blast the whole motor all assembled because I see people say it’s a big no no but I presume that’s if everything is sealed then all seals replaced it saves a lot of time
Yes, I’m excited to get this cr stripped down. If you watch Chad reeds mechanic through their RU-vid, even he blasts motors assembled. It’s only a no no if you don’t prep it properly or know what to look for. I probably will do a video on that soon. Thank you!
@@motoblast3574 yeah I seen him do a few motors before the reason I thought that and I’ve only seen him block up the intake, exhaust and the coolant ports
I’m in NJ and I still don’t know how I got it so cheap. I actually even bought it during the whole Covid BS used dirtbike inflation! I willingly paid $2,500 for the other cr250 that I just restored and I think it was in just as bad of shape. I’m still stoked on the deal.
