Just watched a Ryan Hughes clip (the MX legend) that addressed exactly this problem. According to him arm pump is usually a function of wrong posture and hip immobility (locked in the back position). This means that your arms are always under tension trying to hold you on the bike. Rotate that hip forward and grip the bike with your legs (in acceleration/deceleration) instead of trying to hold to it with your arms. Then unhinge your hips in turns and let the bike move underneath you. No arm pump. BTW, I use grip puppies on my 500EXC and they substantially thicken the grips (they are placed on top of regular grips) and have no arm pump.
I’m a girl and I drive a 2015 , 5.0 obviously a V8 , 4 x 4 lariat and my baby girl has a 6 inch lift , she already has an exhaust. She sounds kinda loud but I want her to sound louder because it will just fit the truck better I guess because she is lifted. And I am getting mine hollowed out full straight pipe. I want mine to be really loud. I mean she’s already loud, but I want her louder.
Do you know what that stands for? Maybe I should play pretend race truck by making the exhaust loud. Then I’ll be like an overgrown 5 year old 😂 it doesn’t make it faster, so please explain why it should be loud.
30 years later people are still scared. You are an amazing rider and the power in the 4 stroke will be there but playing that clutch and gears is beautiful. I know a 500 would smoke anything if you ride it right. No hate at all. Racing and hill climbs I want a 2 stroke. 500 vs 450 they won’t do it.
Really love the content on the entire channel! just getting into vapor blasting myself. Would love to see another video on the cr 250 you made a teardown video of. Also would love to see a review of your new EMAX compressor. Thinking about buying one myself or going with a gasoline compressor.
My RCSB came with a flowmaster super 10 and it sounds awful, it's super raspy, crackly and thin sounding. Coyotes are good engines but they sound god awful with a loud exhaust. I'm putting the stock exhaust back on soon. Edit: The stock exhaust is back on, thank god. I was tired of the engine sounding like it was misfiring when the cylinder deactivation kicked in, putting a loud exhaust on a Coyote is as bad as putting one on a V6 or I4, just leave it stock.
Maybe you’re right, or maybe I just don’t like playing pretend race truck like a big baby. My race bikes are loud and that’s cool to me. It serves no purpose. Maybe gained 3hp at 6k rpm haha
I know this is a bit late but, if you had threaded some copper wire through the axle then the plating solution would have been transferred into the inside and it would have gotten some coverage as well. Nice results though all the same, 😎👍
