Honestly, feel like bryant and yelich didnt get cut and dropped out. They probably laugh at the misfortune of the guys who went. That's literally the greatest story tho, teenage manny Machado in Venezuela where it wasn't safe for Americans at all, and the team was confined to a resort, asks even younger bryce Harper if he wants to sneak out at 2 in the morning to roam the streets in search of late night empanadas🤣🤣🤣🤦🏿‍♂️🙏🏿👍🏿👌🏿👏🏿

A year or 2 after this I saw Harper in an independent league game in N.C. In gm 2 he launched a 450+ ft shot & blew a kiss to the pitcher. G. Stanton, Yelich, Ozuna & D. Gordon watched it from the field. Jose Fernandez struck Harper out twice the following game.

Matt Schrampfer they should without a doubt build for the future. Dodgers are a powerhouse that aren’t falling anytime soon, padres are on the final stretch of a deep rebuild, and the d backs are pretty decent. They don’t have a great farm and they don’t have any tradeable talent at the big league level. Best move they can do now is sign some veterans to 1 year deals hoping to flip them at the trade deadline for prospects. Rinse and repeat a couple years until the farm is stocked, then start adding real big league talent.
