In this video I demonstrate that although the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, it is the ultimate wisdom of God. God's "foolishness" is greater than the greatest intelligence of man!

Hi Matt So very true. We cannot rely on someone who we think is Intelligent and claims to know it all. I was one who was misled in my early days as a Christian, it’s so important to be clear on the Gospel and the Cross . Thanks for sharing this very important and needed information. 🙏❤️

You are so rite. I've delt with people that think it foolish. Infact much of the world thinks this way. Narrow the path for decerning. Wide the path for the foolish. I love the way you speak it . Compassion and humble. Straight forward. Thank you and praise God. And praise God for the cross

Christ is our righteousness and our wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30), and as long as we are looking to Christ for our righteousness and wisdom, we need not look to fellow sinners. Maranatha! P.S. Very good teaching, by the way. Curious though, will you still be doing a teaching on physical and mental health? I would love that. As I mentioned in a previous post, I suffer from OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). People with physical and mental illness need to be assured that we are still loved by our Father, our Abba, and that our physical and mental illnesses are not our fault, but a result of sin coming into our world. Thanks Matt.

Powerful message brother, we need to be very careful about what we listen to on social media ,i turned off my phone for a few weeks as i was listening to too much garbage. I turned it back on and immediately after I left a comment about repentance comes before salvation, a dude claiming to be born again said I was going to hell, i was a liar etc because repentance has nothing to do with salvation. Listen carefully brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus and be obedient to Titus 3:9-11 and avoid debates, especially because God's word says to and you wont lose your peace. God bless you.

A man from my church said he was healed by totally surrendering everything to God including control. My situation seems to be getting worse..so does anyone know much about total surrender to God😅

Hi. Just wanted to point something out. KJV Bible says 1 Corinthians 1:18 to us ( which are saved) ....not being saved. Also compare Hebrews 1: 2 Hebrews 11:3 Revelation 13: 16 Ezekiel 13: 20 . Many Bibles have been changed which changes the meaning, causes errors and limits understanding. Just BEWARE ⚠️

Actually the verse is talking about sanctifying grace. With Justifying grace we are initially (eternally) saved. We are being saved (sanctified) as we mature in Christ becoming more like Jesus.

I think it's important to point out that salvation is more than just one thing. It involves three things: 1. Justification - WE HAVE BEEN SAVED from the penalty of sin (Ephesians 2:8 - "For by grace are ye saved (or, have been saved) through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.") 2. Sanctification - WE ARE BEING SAVED from the power of sin (2 Corinthians 4:16 - "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.") 3. Glorification - WE WILL BE SAVED from the presence of sin altogether, as a future reality (Romans 5:9 - "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved (or, we will be saved) from wrath through him." - Romans 13:11 - "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed." - 1 Peter 1:5 - "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.") I believe the sense that's being communicated in 1 Corinthians 1:18 is our sanctification, not our justification or glorification.

Sure, My main point was that bibles have been modified from the original KJV Bible ( earliest translation) and to be aware. Definitely the scriptures say to WORK OUT your own salvation with fear and trembling so it's NOT just your belief. We have to walk in obedience and keep a relationship with God. ❤️

I don’t think reading Scripture is an either / or kind of thing…Our lord gave us intelligence to read Scripture using our intelligence, our heart and through the gift of the Holy Spirit all in unison. Matthew used “Matthew’s intelligence” via the Holy Spirit to write his own testimonial as did all of the Bible authors. We are blessed to approach Scripture with all senses.
