My old school used to have those but they got replaced with System Sensor L series and they got a new Notifier panel but you can still hear an Integrity in a portable (I walked by yesterday when there was a fire drill). The L series were set to code 3 and so were the old Integrities but the Integrity in the portable was on continuous
This is all of the fire alarms EST made before the Genesis series of fire alarms came out. The first generation of Genesis devices sounded like the integrity.
I like the -2B better because it's the closest you'll get to a mechanical sound on an electronic horn. And as someone who just bought a 792, those capacitors are as loud as a quiet mini-horn!
Let me contribute. The single gang integrity strobe is for indoor use only. The double gang strobe is indoor and outdoor. If you look it up on the EST website they call it a “Harsh Environment Strobe”. Also, do you know when the Genesis series was released? It’s clearly newer than the integrity series because of the modern design and the strobes don’t use reflectors (which is something EST is bragging about).
Does anyone know any info about the 757-3A-T model. Does it have the higher pitch tone of the newer Integrity’s or the lower pitch tone of the older versions?
I think what you meant to say was that in 1994, the ADA updated their fire alarm regulations to require transparent strobes of at least 15 candela that flash at a rate of at least 1 per second
ElevatorMan5482 ElevExperiencing Productions I’m Canadian so I’m not fully aware of the ADA standards, but I was told it was around 1996 that the strobe thing came into effect
Wee had the horn at my elementary school and it was continuous and it was loud to my first elementary school had weelocks ns and my second elementary school had Edwards
