people are the problem a real spanish migrated from somewhere, we all migrated from somewhere i dont see a logical fact about these players not being french, meanwhile i am 100% sure that they were born there in fact some of them are from a french mother or father, its rational to play for the country that feeds and raised you, you grew up with the mentality, and cultures, in fact playing for another country should be a shame and of course a betrayal , we should affirm that we live in a dishonest world
Still not sure how calling the french NT not french isnt Racist. Like, just because they werent orignally from france doesnt mean they arent french. They lived in france, trained in france and were raised in france, by france. African populous makes a lot of population in many countries which happens to be a lot more in france, doesnt make them not french. It is similar to calling an african-american not american imo.
They aren't French no matter wbat💀 look at the France team zince waht 1990? How come the actual player with French bloody never make it, but the players who have parents from a different country does. It's pure genetic and that's not from French. You parents determine your bloody. I was born and raised in Norway, but my parents are African. So since from you age I was faster and more powerful than my friends no matter how much I eat their food celebrate their traditions etc it won't change that my bloody isn't Norwegian and that's what gave me the advantage all along. But the fact it's always the African player who are the next big thing for France and not the actual French players when it's more of them I repeat shows there is that part
I also had that perception that the french team wasnt french but thought about it for a while and realised the same thing i could have said for england and germany. Germany had a few polish and turkish descent same with england having irish descent. The french team is indeed french because they had the right to declare for that country
i think that they are french on papar and that's okay but not in blood. like Ivan Rakitić grew up and trained in switzerland and played for their national team but he is still croatian, becuase of his parents they just moved. if Rakitić had kids with girl from switzerland then those kids are 50/50 and if his kids have kids with someone from switzerland then those kids are like 25/75 by blood from switzerland. so it takes few generations to develop the looks and act of some nation. i don't believe when someone just moves somewhere that they are "different person" now. like yes you can change nationality on paper quick but you are still from where you are actully, you don't adapt looks and other stuff just by living there. sounds kinda racists but we all know we can recognize a real german from the rest, and real irish man from the rest and so on... it's the blood or genetics that matters. i'm kinda old fashioned.
The same thing can be said of those « Germans » and « Irish » they eventually migrated there too thus by your logic they too would never truly be « German » or « Irish ». At the end of the day you’re just choosing an arbitrary cut off point where you say someone « belongs » to a country or not.
I disagree because for me I am 100% Sri Lankan however I was born and raised in America and have never been to Sri Lanka, so America is my home country. Yet by your logic I would be Sri Lankan. Most of these players were raised in France and they are playing for the French flag, so they are French. Mbappe has spent literally his whole life in France, are you really going to say he's not French because his dad is from Cameroon?
I was born in spain, living in spain but with foreign descendance and I would play with my descendant country 100 TIMES MORE than Spain. I just cant undertand how those people betrayed their parents country just for playing on a better NT.
I see this argument all the time and it made me think for a second so hear me out if you will. If you think about it that way then really Messi, Neymar, Pele, Maradona etc should've played for European or African teams cause their ancestors descend from there and not South America; actually lets be more specific here, we all should be playing for Kenya or any other East African team cause we are all descendants from East Africa. Ok, "maybe" it's a bit of a reach here but really what I am saying is that if your descendance is what makes you choose your national team then you're going to run into all sorts of dilemmas. On the other hand, I'd be lying if I said I don't get the situation from your point of view cause at the end of the day you are mostly gonna be similar to your parents more than probably anybody as they are gonna influence you the most in your life. Not to mention your religion also plays a part, I am sure if you were a muslim in a largely catholic/secular society, it feels alienating to you, which might be the reason so many Moroccan players who were born in Spain/Holland/Belgium (which is like their whole team lol) say they "feel" Moroccan. If I was in that paradigm then I would've chosen the country that I was born and raised in rather the country my parents are from. Think about it, you're saying you should play for the country of your parents cause otherwise that'd be disrespectful to your parents? Well, why do you feel indebt to your parents in the first place? Cause they are the ones who raised you and provided you everything, right? So in the same way the country I was born in provided me everything and I would be more attuned to the culture and people there than in the country of my parents which I have more of a vague connection with. Infact, isn't this how new cultures/countries form from the population of old ones? People there form their own identity which is why they separate themselves? Like no Australian for example thinks of themselves as British even though they are descended from them. Then again, you could make so many other cases here and there and so on and what not. So in the end, who cares, just play for the NT that suits you ig. And also I just wasted my time writing this whole thing didn't I, lol? Don't know what got into me but I did.
