This model in blue looks much better than the silver one which had a black shiny roof that looked plasticky instead of metal. This one does not have that problem. Too bad the roof cannot go all the way down, maybe you can call the manufacturer and ask them. How much did this model cost?
As far as I know, the gold landaulet wasn't metal. But I am not sure. I would have to look. You can also ask CMC yourself, they also speak English there.

Wenn schon eine Nachbildung mit Funktionen dann aber bitte auch eine realistische. Ansonsten aber ein wirklich schönes Modell das die Möglichkeiten des Modellbaus einer Grossserie in 1:18 wirklich ausschöpft.
900 Euro is simply too much. I can remember the Bartoletti transporter was about Eur.600,- back in the the day and that was a far more complicated and bigger model.
900 Euro is about identical to the $1000 autoart which is not even the landaulet version, just a regular pullmann. AND if the $1000 was back many years ago, that translates into thousands of Euros today, with inflation and the continuing worthlessness of the euro, the pound AND the US and esp the canadian dollars.
Schade, dass das Verdeck nicht so richtig funktioniert. Ansonsten ein wirklich sehr schönes Modell. Bei dem Preis sollte es aber auch richtig funktionieren finde ich.
Amazing model, but the folding mechanism is the same crap like on some $50 model. I recommend to find where exactly it is not bending and maybe push the plastic glass a bit downwards to help it fold. The color of the model is however excellent. I will still stick to my black regular one (no money for adding more colors or variants)
I've already pushed the roof down. Unfortunately unsuccessful. Well, in addition to the black one, I still have the red and white ones. They are very good and above all damn good looking with the colors. But as mentioned in the comments, I'll take a look at the beige/gold landaulet as well. PS: In my opinion, it's not the same "crap", there was already a lot of good work done. However, there appears to be a design flaw. If it wasn't for that, the roof would be perfect.
I wonder if CMC knowingly shipped models with defective roofs. That would be shameful on their part if they did, but it would hardly be better if they failed to inspect the models and had no idea they didn't work.

Hello, I don't think I'll buy the Elvis car. The prices are now too high for me. A cool car in and of itself, but I don't like the blue interior. That's why I also have the red, white and black. What I bought a short time ago is the limited golden or sand-beige colored Landaulet. I'll present that one shortly.
Ja hallo das ist wirklich ein sehr klasse gemachtes Modell der Firma C MC. Ja natürlich mit dem Dach aber man kann ja nachbessern wenn das goldfarbene Modell kommt mit Persenning. Es ist natürlich sehr aufwendig das Verdeck öffnen zu können. Mfg Dieter

Kann man vielleicht die Kopfstützen hinten abmachen, damit das Dach ordentlich aufgeklappt werden kann? Kann doch nicht sein, dass CMC so eine heftige Fehlkonstruktion in ihre Modelle baut..🤔
ich finde wenn man 900 euro für ein modell zahlt sollte CMC auch ein retourenservice anbieten, wo modelle mit klemmenden scharnieren kostenlos repariert und wieder an den besitzer zurückgeschickt werden. wenn man seinen ruf nicht verlieren möchte, sollte man seine kundschaft auch angemessen behandeln. ansonsten aber top modell 👍
Machen die nicht, weil ich nicht direkt bei CMC gekauft habe. Habe schon gefragt. Ist wirklich schade! Denn es wäre sonst ein fantastisches Modellauto.
Ein wunderschönes Modell, aber das Dach ist 'ne Katastrophe. Der Stoff ist viel zu grob, deshalb lässt es nicht komplett öffnen. Sie hätten feinen Leinen- oder Nylonstoff verwenden sollen, dann würde auch das Dach richtig aufklappbar sein. Da muss CMC noch dran arbeiten. Vielen Dank für das Posten, so würde ich das Modell aber nicht kaufen.
Das mit dem Dach ist wirklich ein Problem. Manche ignorieren es, aber ich finde es auch schade. Es gibt aber noch eine limitierte goldene bzw. sand-beige Version des Landaulets. Die habe ich mir auch gegönnt und werde sie noch zeitnah vorstellen. Dort geht das Dach besser und es ist eine Persenning dabei. Das hätte ich mir eigentlich für diesen blauen gewüscht.
Ich habe folgenden Trick angewandt um das Dach etwas mehr zu öffnen. Ich habe das Dach geöffnet und dann 2 kg Gewicht auf das geöffnete verdeck draufgelegt damit das Stoffverdeck weiter zusammengedrückt wird. Das ganze habe ich dann 24 Stunden so stehengelassen und siehe da, das Dach lässt sich weiter öffnen.
Ja mit sanftem Druck ging es soweit runter dass es ungefähr die Oberkante des Hecktürfenster erreicht hat, sieht jedenfalls jetzt besser aus, würde ihnen ja gerne ein Foto schicken dann könnten sie es sehen.

Pullman ist immer V100. Der "Kurze" ist ein W100. Klugscheißermodus aus. 😜 Das man das Verdeck nicht ganz öffnen kann, ist bei dem hohen Preis, natürlich inakzeptabel. Das ist auch grundsätzlich, immer so. Ansonsten ein echt schönes Modell. 👍
Das betrifft nur die neueren "Pullmänner". Der alte hieß W100. So steht es auch überall. Sogar offiziel bei Merdedes (s. Link). Das ist manchmal sehr verwirrend, vor allem wenn man das noch gar nicht weiß. Tolles Video. Das mit dem Dach ist aber echt ärgerlich. Wieso wird es auf den CMC Bildern dann anders dargestellt? Sehr schade. Hoffentlich wird es bei dem goldenen besser. Danke für deine Mühe und endlich sieht man Mal wie man das Dach öffnet.
@@GK-Modelcar-Universe ja ich hab leider auch das Problem mit dem Dach. Find ich leider auch nicht schön. Hatte mir auch gewünscht dass man das richtig runter machen könnte, hätte besser gemacht werden können.

I have a lot of English-speaking viewers. And there have been English subtitles for EVERY video for many years! There are numerous videos on RU-vid that have, for example, German titles and descriptions and the audio is in English.
