I agree you need one of the top qbs. One thing I think most are forgetting tho is that these guys, maybe besides Allen, were going later in drafts last year. There's a huge difference between the 2-3 turn to the 4-5 turn. Now that they are grabbed sooner, that team that does will loose a high value player at another position

This is something I feel like a lot of people forget are forgetting about QBs. It's not about how good they are, but usually the value you get them with. Also, last year was almost historically bad for QBs and there's almost certainly going go be some bounce back I.E. there will be better scoring QBs later on to be found.

Completely agree, I usually make the playoffs in most of my leagues but I swear the only reason why I end up losing is because of the other guy has Mahomes or something... Not making that mistake this year

The adjustment I make to 2WR redraft is I value RB a little more in the first 4 rounds because the home town homies are totally unaware of the crazy WR value in the back half of the draft. I can take a top 8 WR in the 2nd round and hammer the hell out of breakout candidates and feel really confident I’ll get my star WR2

Yeah honestly I'm looking for RBs early because if the guys you drafted in round 3 and 4 are a bust... Who else is on the waiver wire that you can plug in? No one lol... You can grab so many WRs late that will put up decent numbers

Long time subscriber, this video really surprised me. I was planning to go Bijan, eckler or Mcaff at 4 depending on who was available. Waddle has been falling to me a lot at the end of the 2nd then rhamondre still available at the top of the third. This is ESPN so maybe it’s not as realistic?

goedert, kittle dont make it to 6-7th round anymore... they're going 5th round now. Do you skip 2nd RB in round 5 (pierce, akers, connor) for them? If you do so, generally ending up with Mixon, Jones, Gibbs, Walker RB1 and pacheco, kamara, javonte RB 2

week 17 is for tournaments where there's playoffs and should be considered but if you're just in a normal 12-person league it doesn't matter. stacking is something i love doing, underdog or not

Am i wrong for thinking H. Hurst would be a great pickup toward the end of the draft if good TEs didnt happen to fall to you? I feel like having a rookie qb, with few true targets as a saftey blanket makes hurst into the new 5 yard dump off guy. Could be a lot of targets and a lot of small gains to build up Youngs confidence.

If I don’t get a top 3 QB, I usually grab Burrows in the late 4th, early 5th. I think he is the best value at QB. Fields is right there with him and there is a decent chance he will be the best value.

@@dannygibson2597 that’s funny I was considering adding the fact that if I miss on them I 100% grab Lawrence . I love Lawrence this year. I just like burrow more, and fields ceiling is ridiculous. I will not touch Richardson though I don’t understand why he is going top 10 and with the Taylor issue I like him even less. I would rather take a Cousins, Geno, Goff especially since they are going a couple rounds later. Geno is really underrated after a great season. Cousins is consistent year after year, Goff will get you spike weeks whenever he is playing at home. For some reason Goff is terrible in away games.

@@dannygibson2597 I am still a little bitter over drafting Trey Lance last year because of that league winning rushing upside. Kind of like the “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.” Also he is going in the 9th round that’s not late. That’s middle of the draft. He is being drafted in the top 10 QBs in some drafts. He is being drafted at his ceiling in my opinion. I was already not interested, with the Taylor chaos going on I am out. You could be right though.

So I'm just curious why you're so high on DK Metcalf this year? I see you taking him multiple times well before his projected ADP. Am just wondering what there is to get excited about with him. There are a lot of mouths to feed in that offense on a team that is usually more run heavy. I don't really see how he's worth spending a 3rd Rounder on this year.

Funny, I sorta followed this strategy last night when I drafted for a DK tournament at the 1.02. I started the same way with Chase then I drafted Josh Jacobs, Burrow, Etienne, Kittle, Conner, Addison, Dotson, Boyd, Gibson, and so on It's a pretty good team, but I should've hit the WRs a little more like you did. Problem is that a lot of players like Burrow and Kittle are going a lot earlier than their ADP (which always happens). Then you got the "heart" guys that start drafting players from their favorite teams (dude took T Lawrence at like the 1.09), and the heart players are followed the dipshits that draft players like Taysom Hill in the 3rd. Always gotta have some jackoff throwing a monkey wrench into the draft. I don't know if they're really that dumb, enjoy throwing away money, or what, but that's why it's better to follow a strategy and just plug in the best player available. IMHO.
