Nice one guys. I use a Motorola A1 dongle for my Android Auto wireless connection and it's a great bit of kit and so is your one by the looks of it. Safe travels guys.
Makes it so much easier haha. We had heaps of trouble with the cord and bumping the cord out etc its was so sensitive. It took us a full lap of Australia to finally get one haha 😄 Cheers 🍻
@UberLinny it uses the phones WiFi signal and the Bluetooth signal to make it all work without using the cord. There is too much data to only use Bluetooth.... as far as I know

I have been watching a few of your videos and love them. I have just been given a cannon by my father and so far, have been very impressed. The wireless car play you are talking about here, you don't mention if it has wireless charging, and I cannot find anything on their website about it either, is this correct? in which you still need a cable for your phone as not all cannon models have wireless charging capability such as mine.

Just curious as to how the A/C display integrates with the interface of the smart box. Been watching a while and recently picked up myself an xsr and was rear ended with 2200km/s on the clock so not the best start but really enjoying the videos!
Hey mate, you need to leave WiFi and bluetooth turned on for it to work. It doesn't use your internet just uses the WiFi signal to help it connect. Might use a little internet but I'm not 100% on that Hope that helps a bit haha Cheers 🍻
This unit is for head units that are already equipped with apple car play or Android Auto. Which in most cases you need to plug your phone into the unit to make the car play work. But what this little device does is takes away the cord so you no longer need to plug the phone into the head unit. It just makes it wireless. I hope that makes sense
No it makes Android Auto and Apple carplay work without using a cord. Most new cars have these but you have to use a cord everytime you get in the car. This device makes it so you don't need to use a cord. It's genius hahaha I hope this makes sense.
