You can also use supreme invigorate aura and that allows you to get 3 skulls of in living death without having to worry about using the adren pot tick perfect
if you want to do this easier without invig aura or being on tick, simply living apot, like u would sunshine apot, but after u use the touch after the apot, just step off and click skulls, you loose a tick but it allways works
Does anyone else feel like living death isn't worth using without an adrenaline potion? Sure you should be using an adrenaline potion for difficult content regardless, but living death doesn't seem like it's on the same baseline level of strength as sunshine or ds or something. I struggle to justify using it a lot of the time
@joshbranham974 nah I have the zuk cape. Just between using skulls and weapon spec on cooldown there isn't much room to get value from living death. Again I'm talking without an adren pot though
@@lukegrim3858i use living death for slayer aoe lol 😂 no adren pot I’m still able to death skulls like hell up to 2-3 times like this video something I was already doing was the one where he said use death skulls build to living dead and use it again and again LOL 😂
It’s absolutely still worth using. It resets touch of death and skull cd, and then even without apot you can get 3 more skulls than you would otherwise (EIGHTY percent cdr on skulls is absurd). Then, autos effectively give you 20 extra adren (cost reduction on finger of death) and finger does 1.5x damage. Purely on the fact that autos basically give 20% adren and it resets the cd of touch of death, it pays for itself in adren cost. If you didn’t have zuk cape this might be more worth discussing, but with zuk cape and coe + passive vigor it’s a no brainer
do you have auto cast necromancy abilities enabled while in full manual? I am having the same trouble learning it as some of the comments below where you miss out by a tick. Stepping off works but trying to work out what is delaying that apot 1 tick after living death. Any insights on this? Queuing living death up apposed to hitting it late in the gcd? The only problem with auto attacks automatically firing is it makes it likely an auto will just go off instead. Really appreciate the vid
@@WazzyRS yeah full manual seems way more consistent. I played on the dummy after your vid and worked it out. There is a sweet spot in the last tick when full manual that it works every time. Thanks for the tips btw. New to pvm and these vids are super helpful for me. Subbed
deathskulls with living death on is more powerful than the t90 weapon spec at full necro?.. I am trying to see how to do 30k dmg. I am only getting 23k with the gard spec.
Just thought about it, but enhanced replenishments might be better than adrenaline renewals so you dont have to be tick perfect. 10% less adren overall however.
@@peterkirk8510it’s a lot easier to practice with a 30% super adrenaline potion cause any form of lag or delay with mess up the combo with an adrenaline renewal, I’d say consistentcy over risk is better in this case, also not everyone has the herblore level for renewals so it’s nice that this can be done with super adrenaline potions
The overall adren loss is not worth it when you should be used to dmg boosted ulti + adren potting already. If you are not used to that, time to get that into your muscle memory!
Use the t70-90 spec, volley of souls, skeleton empower, life transfer, and soul sap on cd. Auto, touch of death, finger and death skulls when they’re available
Does this work with ability queuing/revo? Even if I spammed the adren renewal before/during/after living death firing i was unable to instantly drink it.
It CAN WORK its just a little annoying to time. I revo basics and have ability queuing and it can be done, but I switched to super adren to just be able to do it easier input
Try using natural instinct i found that w everything else your runnin adds on to the adren and makes using the t95 and deathguard specs easier within living death
it definitely still works with ability queueing. I was helping a friend with it and he just wasnt pressing living death and the apot same tick even though he swore he was. As soon as i worked with him and told him to click apot sooner, he started getting it
I don't get it. I tried keybinding the apot, clicking the apot, using ability queuing, not using it. I am either 4% short or the apot doesn't go off at all.
@@WazzyRS Checked and double checked. I see on your screen when it's done correctly you visually go from 100% adren straight to 24% and that's never happened on my end so I know that's the issue. I only ever see mine drop to 20% for a tick before it starts going up and I'm obviously then a tick late for death skulls, but if I click the apot or hit its keybind even a millisecond earlier I get the message that I have 100% adrenaline. I even slowed the video to 0.25x speed to see the exact point in the gcd that you click your apot but I get the 100% message again when I try to replicate it. My connection is almost always great and today has seemed no different otherwise but Idk maybe there's a tiny amount of lag or my keyboard isn't registering my input at the exact correct time. I've been incredibly thorough with testing this at wars dummies (rest in pieces my adren renewal stack) so I think for the moment I'm stuck using supreme invigorate if I want to make use of this strat.
Death Skulls always casts 60% adrenaline to cast. Conservation of energy and vigor passive *retain* 20% after you cast the ability, not reducing the amount of adrenaline you need to try and cast it.
I find i crit the first hit less often than not so while it may be a nerf for people with maxed out crit chance for the average player you could almoat say its a buff cause you wont be locked into a critless set of hits just cause you missed the first one
