weed feels SUPER GOOD after not smoking for a while and It scared me because I couldn’t live without that feeling, but what I realized is that feeling I had on weed was just my temporary withdrawals subsiding - it was a dollar store version of how I’ll feel everyday once I’m through the withdrawals. That meaningful feeling you have on weed isn’t gone forever, you just won’t need weed for it anymore

Facts. I think that's why I get anxious at work out of nowhere because I just want the work day to be over, so I can go home and smoke. I have social anxiety, I think that's why I had so much anxiety

For me its definitely a different feeling as ive gone sober for long stretches of time and it genuinely does make you feel good. Its just before you know it and way sooner than youd like you develop a tolerance and either need to smoke way more and more often wasting more time and money just to get only a little high. Its just not worth it

Day 1 begins tomorrow for me. I have come to a point in my life where everything is falling apart. I am not doing well in a lot of ways and looking back on how I got here. I’ve never been a drinker. My dad was an alcoholic and it steered me away from drinking. I have maybe a drink a year. Usually an event or celebration, something like that. But ironically, 13 years of a heavy weed smoker. Daily use, sometimes very heavy daily use. I have barely scraped by all these years. Surrounding myself with others who smoke too. Many of them have quit already and I see how their lives changed. I developed horrible panic after an edible I ate two years ago. Have suffered horrible anxiety, depression, panic since but I have lately recognized I experience it more when I’m stoned than when I’m not. Weed is intensely enhancing the physical, emotional and mental effects. In April I gave up soda. I used to drink soda everyday for years. Finally I said no more. I am 72 in. It has helped cut any cravings of sugar. I decided to start cutting one bad habit every month. May way hard but I gave up coffee/caffeine. First couple weeks were difficult. I am 26 days now and don’t miss it much at all. It hit me last night that Junes pick needs to be weed. I am done with it. I am going to smoke my last joint tonight and make my peace in its own way like I did with my last soda and last coffee. I will not spend money on weed anymore. You’d be surprised at how much I save just from sodas, coffees and creamers. I ready to part ways and find out who me is without the crutch of weed. Your channel has helped me so much this last week on changing my mindset and recognizing things in myself that I know but have been fogged up too long to do anything. Enough is enough. Thank you! I will keep watching your channel through this journey as support! Good luck everyone on your journeys as well! ♥️

Your constant input is so helpful and I thank god every day of my life that I was able to find your content to make me understand I needed to change my life. I’m no where near where I want to be or need to be YET, but I am 175 days completely sober from weed and alcohol and I have you to thank for that. I’m still struggling with some other things that you talk about but I’m trying extremely hard to stay above water with everything and trying to teach my mind to cope without a crutch. I hope everyday you wake up and you realize how important you are to the world and how much SO MANY people need you and your words of wisdom. Day 175 for me 🔥👑 To all you guys and gals in your early days of quitting, just keep focused and keep going. It’s literally a day by day thing. Even at this point in my sobriety I have days where all I want to do is smoke, BUT the key is just to not do it. Instead go get some good food, do a workout, do a little hobby like a puzzle or something with some enjoyable music. Just keep your mind right yall 🙏🔥 I never met another person that smoked like I did or was addicted to weed as bad as I was. I was almost a crackhead for it trying to resolve my anxiety and extreme depression with it to a point where I can’t even explain to y’all. But with that, I promise you if I can do it, you can.

I found your videos the night after I came home from my first hospital visit for a cyclical vomiting attack. I had one other episode before that at the beginning of that same month, and it wasn’t until that hospital visit did I learn that it was quite likely the symptom of CHS. It’s been about 2 or 3 weeks since then and I think about relapsing every day, but I just can’t run the risk of possible renal failure. Your videos helped me out a lot, though, and this one is the one I needed to see just before I could have relapsed again. I have a lot of things I’ve failed at and tried succeeding with in life, and some of the things I wanted the most, I felt like, were being held back by my addiction. Thank you again for doing the work that you do, and I hope you only find success in the future.

I been smoking since i was 15 and now I'm 30 and since I stopped smoking within 3 weeks its incredible how I don't get sick anymore. Been 3 months sober now and ill never go back becouse I don't want to ever get sick like that and throw up and lay in bed for days ever again. Going to the hospital to get fluids then they would send me on my way with some zofran which did absolutely nothing for me. This was so overlooked by everyone. This disease called chs needs to be researched alot more and I'm so glad to know I wasn't the only one throwing up every morning and taking really hot showers. I thought I was alone for the longest time before I saw your content! and being told I was mental health by family members who thought I was crazy for all the vomiting and hot showers i took they thought i was dope sick! I feel same way; i got something physical (osteo genesis imperfecta) with some ptsd and traumas on the side and eventho the weed seems to take the edge off the sadness and pain of life, i am still at the point where i want to decide to use the stuff when i feel like. And not more and more or every day because the weed seem to want me to? Every now and then; fine, all day every day; not cool. And yeah psychoactive meds vs painkillers vs weed.. i want to make my own choise, pick my own lesser evil. Now weed is legal in my country, but i plan a holiday abroad where i can go to prison.. oO.. not worth. And even staying away from the weed for a few days is giving me the sense of power i feel im looking for. So i wish you all the power and control too compa 01! Hi Dr Frank! I quit heavy use of marijuana after I came to the conclusion it was making my many chronic illnesses worse. You were a very big inspiration to do so. The first two weeks were actually incredible, I didn’t crave it at all and felt so much healthier and more energy. I wasn’t getting any symptoms. However, on my 3rd week I started have cold-like symptoms/fatigue and am hacking up a lot of crap. Is this detox? Could my poor immune system have been the reason my body did not react the first two weeks? If so, how long should symptoms last for someone who is immune-compromised? I still am surprised to say, I have no cravings for marijuana and will continue on this path. Thank you!

I made it 23 days and relapsed today. I planned a trip to a park here in NJ for 3 goddamned weeks and was so excited to go take photos and enjoy myself in nature for a day. my GPS pulls me into an area with a WIDE OPEN GATE with signs posted about the park, so I naturally figured it was a parking spot, I have no reason to believe otherwise cause I had never been to that area 2 hours out of my way. Within minutes an old POS came and assaulted me, telling me "You fucking blind??? Get the fuck out of here!" I was so stunned and scared that I just got in my truck and drove another 2 hours back home. Wasted 4 hours and 200 miles worth of gas. I did NOTHING to deserve him assaulting me and I'm tired of not having my comfort to return to, so I made my brother give me back the carts I gave to him 3 weeks ago and I took 2 hits and have slept all day. I have zero drive or want to even attempt to go back for fear of running into that guy again and I'm not paralyzed by fear of going to a park and being attacked by some baby boomer POS who hasn't had the common courtesy to make way for the younger generations yet. Why should I bother improving myself when the world is full of assholes and idiots who just do what they want and nobody ever does anything about it? I'm so lost and scared and hurt. I didn't deserve what happened to me and I'm a fucking coward for smoking again. I hate myself and am just living up to that prophecy of my dad warning me my entire life I'd end up like a friend of his who's been in and out of prison and homeless the past 10 years. I'm hopeless.

God dammit. I hate the Lord, because beware when you ask him from something, he probably might actually give it to you. He delivered the truth. But not even that seemed enough. I've must be on relapse number 57 in the last five years. And fell again. I hate this feeling. Why? I can't do anything, but play youtube videos en the backround. Can't even play video games right. Can't even get up to pick up the guitar because it's such a hassle. And if I manage to get it, I just don't play with soul. And no instrument deserves to be played souless as I feel right now. Typing this and asking the Lord to help me leave this behind; again.

maybe my request will be a bit too specific, but I have a very specific problem about quitting weed... I already reached to the point where I can get through the day without smoking, I don't feel any need to smoke during the day, I actually feel it would have a negative effect on my day.. but when it comes to night, and close to bedtime, I have to roll a joint, otherwise I just can't sleep. I can't let myself to stay up until whenever I fall asleep, because I have to wake up early.. What could I do about this? I feel like it's rather just a habit at this point than addiction, but maybe I am wrong

failure to quitting weed does not typically result in death? I beg to differ. in my experience, active weed addiction always resulted in opening the door for me to use heavier substances, including crazy blackouts of alcohol...alll because I used weed!!!!!!! weed always lowered my defenses to be susceptible to use other crazy ass shit and in bigger amounts, especially if I was having a weed withdrawal!!! the use of weed and the effects it did to my addictive brain MOST DEFINITELY became dangerous. I have an anxiety disorder too..but when id withdraw from weed, my anxiety symptoms only worsened and I became desperate to use ANY substance, again.

👆👆It's gonna be hard, just keep trying. I guess i can't stop because i got pounds loaded up everywhere in my house. People who try to stop are those who hardly smoke good weed. If you smoke the right strains you'll understand why weed is so important for yourlife. It's not for everyone but people always hit me up on telegram saying they wanna buy
