So many entrepreneurs and personal brands tell Gary that they are struggling to monetize their audience when trying to sell something. Gary's reply is the reason their audience won't buy anything from is them is because they aren't providing enough value upfront before asking for a sale. I need to watch this every day. This has literally been my biggest stressor. I feel played when I see ppl selling the information I give away for free or see them selling trash, false info to my niche for hundreds... some making thousands. So I always go to the drawing board like bump this I know I have valuable stuff let me play the game. I can never go full force with it tho. I always end up burned out and stressed. I sit and think of all the content I'd have to create based on a funnel and upselling and all the work that goes into sucking ppl into paying more and more and I get exhausted. I don't want to put that much energy into selling that way because I know that in the end, it will just attract ppl that probably won't do anything with the information anyway, they just want someone to tell them they'll be rich if they do 1,2,3. I've had so many ppl that I know care about me tell me that I need to stop giving away stuff b/c it will disrupt the industry and I'll never make money. It's hard because while I'm struggling the next "guru" with a fraction of my knowledge + experience are making thousands. Man this was so much confirmation to trust my gut and doing what's right will always be right.

The title of this video is SPOT on. Gary,I’ve been following for several years now. Black, gray, white ... that’s the big takeaway!! “WE” - the “good guys” can’t go there - the funnels etc - to that black. We gotta go white all the way and the rest will take care of itself. This IS the video that sums it all up and which most of us need to run with. You may have pushed many of us over the finish line with this one just when we were soo close to throwing in the towel and start looking for a new direction. Thanks man!!!

This is very true, I had a personal experience with this. I was riddled with eczema, looked online for help on RU-vid, found a young man named Greg Da Santos who'd healed himself through diet changes, and gave all his information for free. I was so touched by this and helped by his information that I bought his ebook out of gratitude. So, this really works and has a good energy about it.

I love Gary but I completely disagree with the idea that someone who sells, and God forbid even enjoys selling has a "Black Soul, corrodes inside, and dies bad". There is absolutely nothing wrong with equal value being exchanged (in terms of product value and monetary value) between a customer and vendor. I'm sure there's more depth to the point he's making but it came across weird to me.
