My list: 5. Nivada grenchen chronomaster sport (very funky and actually very useful) 4. Doxa sub 300/300t (heritage and super cool) 3. Seiko spb143 (utterly iconic. A true modern classic) 2. Longines LLD 42 (the fume dials and tropic style dials are gorgeous plus the 42mm longines is what kicked off the whole vintgae thing in 2007) 1. Tudor BB54 (cmon it's a modern yet vintage rolex) Honestly 1, 2 and 3 are basically interchangable imo but they imo stand head and heels over the revived brands like doxa or vintage inspired sort of lookalike watches from microbrands. The longines, tudor and seiko are all also "do it all, one watch collection" worthy. Especially the spb143 if anything.
The Seiko movement (6r35) is just too inaccurate (~20sec daily) to be acceptable as a daily wear. Which is a shame because it is great otherwise. The Grand Seiko divers are technically on point, but massive dials.
@@Owlsgo.owlsgo eh they're very easy to regulate plus 95% of 6rs run perfectly fine. The specs you read on the paper aren't really reality. It's just what the accepted tolerances are. The stock 6r generally runs just as well as swiss 2824s, sw200s and so on

Hi, great video once again! I would love to see you compile a list of top 10 tool watches. I love watches that have a tool watch look and have the capabilities to back it up and yet can still feel like a nice luxury. Many Sinn watches or the Tudor Pelagos come to mind. I'm interested to see what kind of watches an engineer or machinist would wear :)
Great video folks but I'd personally add the Breitling SuperOcean Heritage ii 42mm or the SuperOcean 57! It's funny how many folks skip/ over look the Breitling Superaocean models even though it's been in production since 1957.

Oris 65 Heritage diver in 40mm (the 70's type one). Now Discontinued is my Pick for Desk Diver. A legendary watch....shame about the Selitta movement. Anyway all those watches are very nice to be fair!
Super la vidéo qui me rassure sur mon achat aussi 😊 Personnellement j’ai acheté la Dan henry il y’a 3/4 ans après beaucoup de recherche d’une plongeuse adapté à mes goûts , j’ai pris la 40 mm sans orange dans le cerclage uniquement gris…j’ai un petit poignet de 18,4 mm c’est l’idéal, Dommage pour l’épaisseur qui est un peu le seul point à discussion et aussi le lume pas assez fort et la réserve de marche pas vraiment 48h après usage il me semble mais je chipote La lorier (la falcon plutôt) une marque qui m’attire pour un autre achat de montre 😅

Excuse me? You praised Tudor for having "manufactured" movement while it's a THIRD PARTY movement acquired from Kennisi, but you blasted Longines for doing the same thing? Shill or fanboy?
Not exactly In 2010 the TUDOR watch brand launched an ambitious project to develop its industrial production capacity for mechanical movements. To this end, the brand brought together a group of experts and presented an initial calibre manufactured by TUDOR at Baselworld in 2015, in variations to equip two different watches. The following year the Genevan watch brand created the Kenissi company to oversee the development and production of its movements and, in parallel, offer its technical expertise in the field of movements to third-party brands. The first industrial partnership was then forged with Breitling. As its business developed, in 2018 Kenissi then formed an industrial alliance with Chanel, supplying the calibre for its new J12. Today Kenissi offers a wide range of self-winding movements derived from the TUDOR Manufacture calibres. These customisable, high-performance, highly robust movements are entirely developed and produced in Switzerland.
Tudor created the Kenissi company to oversee the development and production of its movements and, in parallel, offer its technical expertise in the field of movements to third-party brands. Tudor and Kenissi are even in the same building. It's accurate to say Kennissi makes Tudor's in house manufactured movement. Longines uses ETA movements............although they are both owned by Swatch, it's not the same thing.
Both of you are wrong. Tudor had already been thinking about setting kennisi as a third-party movement manufacturer from the beginning. They don't have the willingness to bear all the cost of manufacturing their own caliber. This is only for clout. Here's the closing argument: if someone's using kennisi's movement, Tudor ain't that special anyway. In-house means it's built specifically for you and for your usage only. You're basically paying ETA quality with 30-40% price increase with no additional benefit.

You can easily find the information online. Tudor, owned by the Hans Wildorf Corporation, had "the willingness to bear all the cost of manufacturing their own caliber". In 2015, Tudor introduced the North Flag watch, which featured the MT5621, the first in-house movement developed and produced by Tudor. Yes, they intended on selling their movements to other major brands, also. I stated that in my previous comment. Also, according to your definition , Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Watchmaker's watchmaker "aint that special anyway". You'll find their movements in many high luxury brand watches.

According to your definition, Jaeger-LeCoultre "aint very special anyway". The watchmaker's watchmaker has made movements used in many high end luxury brands. I own both the Tudor Pelagos LHD and the Longines Hydro Conquest Ceramic. Both are nice watches, but the Tudor has the better movement.....whether or not you consider the movement in-house.
