Out of all the listacle youtubers, Phantom Strider is one of the most chill and compassionate, even when talking about incredibly sensitive and difficult topics. Good on you, sir!

I love how even though Seth has the sickest and darkest humor he at least knows where to draw the line and I respect that

I'm surprised the Marge Simpson scene didn't make it. It's one of the few jokes Seth ever apologized for.

The deleted scene in PTV, when Chris and Peter film their own parody of Jackass! That scene made the whole reason why Lois called the FCC make more sense!

I’m Jewish. A common consensus I’ve heard from many of my jewish friends and family is that they like Family Guy and get a laugh from the jew jokes. Family Guy takes jabs at everyone and the show doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s obviously all in good fun so you kind of have to be willing to be on the receiving end of the jokes sometimes.

The Stewie Kills Lois shtick was funny at the beginning of the show, when Stewie actually had a reason (broccoli, for instance.) and declined only when they couldn't come up with "baby" reasons and/or dragged it out too long.

I think the anti-Semitic “when you wish upon a star” was a joke because of the whole “Disney doesn’t like Jews” thing.

Who remembers that deleted scene where Quagmire tries to harass Marge Simpson from the Simpsons

I really appreciate how genuine and compassionate you are about sensitive topics. It's rare to find folks on this website who are so kind about topics like that. There's a reason this is easily one of my favorite channels

Road 2 Rhode Island: Fairly wholesome episode with the 2 popular characters having a catchy musical number. Counseling Tape scenes: "well, yes, but actually no."

I think FG's really gotten better over the last couple of seasons. They seemed to have stopped picking on Meg as much and made everyone equally terrible, but it actually kind of works. And the Brian and Stewie road trips are always a highlight.

Can we just enjoy the irony in the line “I can’t imagine Disney was too thrilled to have their song be even slightly associated with anti-semitism” 😅

I agree that Quagmire's Mom was a bad episode but the cutaway involving the monsters from Where The Wild Things Are always makes me laugh. The one scene alone isn't good enough to save the otherwise awful episode but it's decent enough. The joke where Joe is forced to explain what a "Frosty Jim" is was quite funny as well.

When he teased this video on twitter, I thought he was gonna do my idea on top 5 best and worst brian griffin episodes since he liked it.

The thing about this is some of these Family Guy episodes were still available in the UK. I saw the abortion and Skydiving episodes on ITV a few years ago when I was younger

My favourite Family Guy deleted scene is the song “I’ve got a little list” from Lois Kills Stewie (Part 2).

I HATE "Peter's Sister" because of how abusive his sister is. I know what it feels like to get abused (not physically) & mistreated from my sisters, & I SERIOUSLY sympathize for Peter.

This man has managed to make even the most horrendous things tolerable. I can’t tolerate modern family guy, because the episodes make me actually feel sick, but he makes it actually digestible.

I think the joke about Pat Tillman was not quite a case of “too soon”, but more “too specific”.

To be fair, Donna was always a terrible person before she moved to Quahog. The Cleveland Show has her be a horrible parent and hates children. She even gleefully sings a song called “Kids Suck at Everything.”

"He's Bla--ack!" episode pissed me off. I hated how Lois and Donna forced Peter and Cleveland to end their lifelong friendship over some argument that neither both of them were involved. Not only that, but they were willing to make their lives a living hell if they even bother to do otherwise. At least everything was solved in the end of the episode, but my LORD that was infuriating. Selfishness to the next level.

The unedited "Turban Cowboy" episode airs on Adult Swim occasionally.

I have to admit, after finally hearing the full Dirtiest Joke in the World, it made me laugh. The joke itself is pretty by the numbers "adult" but I think only hearing the punchline for so long actually made it a funnier joke. Finally hearing the setup for how something like that ends up in the sink gave me a hearty chuckle.

I really appreciate Strider's closing statement, which is true, especially in this uncertain world. He approaches even the most tasteless of subject matter with compassion and class, which is so refreshing.

First off, Love how you address topics with utmost respect. Adult swims airing in Canada has shown all of these scenes on their day time programming. Like I actually laughed finding out some of these scenes were cut cause I've seen them on cable tv. But informative none the less to find this out. Love your content!

So far as “When You Wish Upon A Weinstein”, I remember seeing the original on the air, then reruns after the fact changed “even though they killed my Lord” to “I don’t think they killed my Lord” and noticing the difference in lip flap.

its weird to recognize so many of the banned episodes and deleted scenes. ive watched family guy for literally as long as i can remember. my parents didn't really care that i watched it even at age 4, so i actually recall watching these all when they aired on tv with my parents beside me like nothing. banned episodes and cancelled scenes are weird like that to think i watched them when they aired like any notmal episode anyways cool video! i was actually surprised to hear that cutaway gags and even entire episodes i remember so clearly watching when i was younger were canned

Hi there, I happen to be Jewish myself! When it comes to When you wish upon a Jew, I thought it was in good taste. It treats Peter as being in the wrong and he eventually learns being good with money has nothing to do with being Jewish and he sees just how wrong he was making Chris to be Jewish.

We have ‘Turban Cowboy’ saved on Foxtel. I never really saw an issue with the episode, same goes with all of Family guy, I more or less just thought that “they’re not harming anybody, so it should be fine”. And even though it’s all just words and sounds and text. It’s incredible to see sensitive topics being addressed, either by a TV show/movie, or somebody talking about them. So it’s only fair to say that I genuinely admire what you’re doing. Keep up the good work fellow Aussie.

I must have binge-watched Family Guy a long time ago by now, I could have sworn, that back when the entire series was on Netflix, a lot of, if not ALL of these censored or banned episodes, were there. Obviously NOT the one where Lois gets the marriage counseling VHS tape or what ever it was - which turned out to be some woman's series of porn tapes that Peter started watching - but I definitely remember seeing Partial Terms Of Endearment, and Turban Cowboy. Maybe once the series was removed from Netflix, these episodes were banned, I don't know.

How come I get enjoyment out of the most messed Family Guy jokes

Some of these deleted scenes were kept in for the streamable versions on Netflix. I was very surprised some of these were in this list, since I saw them.

My biggest problem with shows tackling the abortion debate is that they always showcase the absolute bottom-of-the-barrel arguments for the anti side, and rightfully dismiss them, but then just kinda act like that's all there is to the debate.

About Road to Rhode Island, another scene was cut from broadcast for a time which features a joke involving Osama Bin Laden trying to bypass airport security by singing a famous show tune, which was broadcast in 1999, over an entire year before the events in New York occured. Not only that but in the episode, Brian wallows, Peter Swallows, a scene featuring the world trade center in the background of Brians musical number, “You’ve got alot to see” had to be edited and was used for airings up until years after the attacks occured.
