one is the goat and one made him a lot of money. are you surprised? in the real world people are not all treated the same, nor should they be expected to be. not everyone is the same.
@@oa7554 id dare you to name someone with a better resume but its not possible. Im not sure whats funny about it. You probably hear it all the time actually.
You missed one person. One of my favorite fighters. Cat Zingano got fired for not taking a fight due to Halle Berry promising her a spot in her movie. The whole thing was a mess.
@@thediaz07 LOL, No. So from what I could gather Halle was making a movie and somehow the contract required UFC fighters, probably since Halle is represent by the same agency that reps UFC. Anyways Cat being a UFC fighter was cast, chose to not take the fight for the role, and got fired. As she was no longer a UFC fighter at that point, she lost the role. Cat withdrew her lawsuit last year.
@@YakBat ok but don't you see how that's a little f'd up? Cat takes the role in the movie, gets dropped for not fighting and gets dropped from the movie for not being in the UFC. Who was she suing? Bc the movies producers should get sued for dropping Cat... Cat didn't take the fight in order to be in the movie....she got dropped by the UFC for the movie. .and then they don't use her??
Maybe they didn't put it in because of the multiple accusations and allegations he has that got so bad that he literally had to step down from being the CEO of WWE as a Co-Founder lmaoo.

Yea it's so dumb, let them smoke weed, it's not like it makes them better. If anything it might make them lazier or make it harder to cut weight. Pretty crazy a Taco Bell employee has more rights than professional athletes.
I don't think he actually said that, he just faked a foul so the ref called time. I don't think that's worth firing someone over. Granted, he should have been pretty strongly penalized for it, but I guess the after-bell sucker punch trumped all of his shenanigans. Also, from what I recall, he accused Daley of eye gouging him the whole fight, and had a lot of noticeable marks on his face, but I never really looked into it because... well, Kos is one of the least likable fighters of all time. Only time I was interested in seeing him in the ring is when he was getting trounced by GSP.
Joshua Fabia is a weird one, but the UFC preemptively firing someone because, among other things, they asked for their medical records is not some victory to be celebrating.
If you listen to the call between Fabia and the UFC you will hear that he clearly, and solely, wanted medical records to set up a lawsuit after Diego's last fight. But yeah otherwise I agree that it should not be celebrated in general but in this case it was alright.
Fabia is a leech, his lack of morals and character go much lower than just being a "weird one". If Diego was actually payed out for some lawsuit then Fabia would find a way to decieve/abuse Diego into giving him a large sum of the money... and if I were to place a bet on it, it would be well over 50% of the payout and he wouldn't even stop there.
That was a very huge exaggeration of the Lombard vs Dollaway fight. Dollway threw a kick at the bell and Lombard fired off his counter combination. Thats what happened.
Not only that. Dollaway was clearly faking. First he said "that was after" and then he started saying "what happened" and looking at his fingers as if he had blurry vision LMAO
The dumbest fighter they kept for the dumbest reasons is Jon hands down. Only difference between him and the other guys that pop hot is he ratted on his gym, so he gets to stay
@@theywouldnthavetocensormei9231 they let him stay because, if he's on PEDs and nobody else is, it's easy for Dana to push the narrative that he's "GoOd" and sell all the casual nobody's tickets at 4k a pop 😂. That's the same reason he fought middle weights at 205 and Dana's already trying to feed him light Heavyweights at 265 🤣🤣
Thiago Silva for pointing a gun at his wife? Anthony Johnson for missing weight a bunch of times, then moving up weight classes and STILL missing weight by a ton?
Riddle getting fired for weed when people were juiced to the gills or on EPO……Belfort and TJ Dillishaw got to keep their jobs.. is bs… and now they don’t even test for marijuana…. 😂
I was fired for asking my GM if I could use her as a reference while updating my resume. I live in a right to work state, so you can be fired for basically anything.
Still insane to me that the guy that got bit still has a job in the UFC. He was getting whooped and grabbed the cage about a million times. Not saying anyone ever deserves to be bit, but he brought it on himself by cheating so much.
For that bite, you should add that the guy actually tatooed the vite where it was and that Dana gave him additional bonus for it as well, as a "sorry it happened".
That's pretty awesome, there's a former pitcher named Joba Chamberlain that got a tattoo of a smiley face over his scar from elbow surgery. I like that one too.
A note on the Jessie Taylor ve CB Dollaway fight. CB fought at 205lbs comfortably while Taylor fought at 170lbs. So the two meeting in the cage at MW was actually in huge favor of CB being such a bigger fighter.
@@MF-kr4hf Diego had so much starpower that he was fighting on prelims for years! Daley, really? Wasn't even a big star in bellator! Jon Jones, ie genuine UFC level star power, can break a pregnant woman's arm while off his head on drink and/or drugs.....was never ever going to be sacked.
@@jakelongstaff4102 Riddle? He was never going to be a MMA star, nevermind UFC star! I think he only finished 1 fight, he was a decision machine. He got beat in TUF pretty early too. Becoming a soap opera star doesn't even have any relevance to this discussion.
Hey bro nice video. One small piece of feedback: weed stays in ur system for months after ingesting, so u can’t just “stay off it for a few weeks”, u literally can’t smoke any of it ever if it’s considered to be a banned substance and u could be tested at any time. And Joe is the playing devils advocate, finding the tiny possibility of how it could help deal with injury pain etc but if u have smoked even once before, u will know that there is no advantage gained unless u consider pain management, sleep management or stimulating appetite an “unfair advantage”.
Not necessarily true. Many factors play into how long it stays in your system, it isn't just automatically in your system for months. I can pee clean in three weeks, my buddy that's the same weight and height takes 6 weeks to be clean. Metabolism, body weight, exercise, etc play in to it.
Mokaev did everything that was humanly possible to get booted by the UFC. He was all of the hellish liability of a Jones or Conor, without any of the star power or profit to outweigh it.
I saw a guy beating up an old lady, so, i intervened. The cops told me to stick around and they'd come with me to my job to explain it... the regional manager was in that day. he didn't care. fired me on the spot. So, i ordered an entire meal (del taco) and unwrapped and then threw each item at him. including the drink lmao.
I've met Paul Daley. He's very decent, humble and respectful. He's also a good trainer who looks after his fighters. Daley should be given another chance.
Fun fact. Diego Sanchez was given a $500,000 check for show and win money when let go. That’s very stand up by the UFC i think. He was supposed to fight Cowboy but was released just before. They paid him out.
Great list, but in my opinion a spot (or at least dishonorable mention) should have gone to War Machine for getting himself fired after Evan Tanner's death for implying Tanner committed suicide because his MMA career was essentially over. Officially, he was released after turning down a fight because the proposed opponent was a tough prospect with no name recognition, but Dana White was pretty clear that his comments on Tanner's death were the reason turning down a fight was enough to get him axed so I think it should count.
I was at the Starnes vs. Quarry match. It was the 1st event in Canada. GSP vs. Serra 2. It was billed as Canada vs. USA big time. To see the Canadian fans turn on Starnes was something to see. The highlight of the fight was Quarry's post fight interview. He did his own version of Rocky's speech from Rocky IV. Sobral was so mad because his opponent wore a shirt that had Sobral's mugshot on it.
The funny one about the Kalib Starnes one is that the Canadian crowd was behind him, cheering him on. By the end of the fight, they were cheering Nate Quarry. 😂😂😂😂
It's funny how celebrated Jorge was after the 3 piece and a soda and literally sprung him into title fights and being a star. Same with McGregor throwing the dolly at the bus window, it was shown all throughout the promo leading the the fight with to consequences from the UFC (just got sued by other fighters). Whereas others that get into backstage are instantly fired and condemned. Half the time Dana is defending these guys doing stupid shit saying "they fight for a living they have to be crazy" and then turns to the "These are professional athletes and we expect them to behave as such" when it's someone he doesn't like or isn't a draw..
I was working in a daycare on the school. Some troubled kid punched me right in the nuts, and I said, "Wtf is wrong with you?" *Fired And from that day on, I knew I was not gonna be working with kids😆
asking for a picture, then after the picture sucker punching the person u took a picture with has to be the weakest, dumbest thing a "professional fighter" can do.
As a former national level rugby player and daily smoker. Weed is like taking Tylenol or alcohol. You use it after the competition to relax. If you use it directly before competing, it definitely won’t help you 😂.
Man, I had no idea Jeff Molina was fired he was one of the few flyweights I was actually excited when they fought, still has a promising career, but from the gay video being leaked and then this happening right after I felt bad for the man, I also can’t believe the UFC fired them because the flyweight division is so thin and he was an actual prospect
Mokaev also came out and said the UFC suggested he shouldn't wrestle in his fights, I honestly think that's the straw that broke the camels backs, I think without saying that Mokaev is still a UFC fighter today.
100% think they said that his last fights were lack luster and he needed to try more for finishes and he took that as ohh I can’t wrestle anymore. That “talk” really helped lol.
What about Miguel Torres? He got fired for a tweet quoting a line from a show, Workaholics in 2011. Granted, he came back weeks later but he was still fired for it regardless.
I scooped ice cream in a mall kiosk and when I would go down to the parking/basement/storage area to restock I would always help myself to the chopped peanuts and cherries. My boss stopped giving me hours and on my last day after 'quitting' my boss handed me a little container with chopped peanuts and cherries.
The Mokaev one was hilarious. He is such an unlikeable person and him winning and still getting fired was almost as good as him getting knocked out lol.
For the record, Kalib Starnes was one of the fighters complaining about his paycheque and refused to take excessive damage for the low pay he was getting. While I disagree with his running away tactic in that fight, he was clearly just trying to out run his contract to go somewhere else.
All of these are quite right, but to this day, I'm still proud of Daley. Koscheck had that coming, just sucks he had the last laugh depriving UFC of a great and entertaining fighter, while Koscheck continued to hug people and pretend he was a fighter. fyi I don't particularly dislike Koscheck, but he was the prick of pricks for that fight, Daley popped that one in for not just himself, but the fans too 😆
You also forgot to mention the numerous other problems and antics mokaev had going on behind the scenes, it’s been said he’s awful to deal with. I don’t find that one dumb I think it was absolutely justified of the UFC to release a guy who only creates problems, and boring fights.
They really talk down on Matt about weed but Brock Lesnar couldn't pass a drug test to save his life. Connor was literally peeing out steroids. The company is a joke
For all intents & purposes, it's the same as being fired. Look at Speedo guy. He wasn't fired for wearing it, they just canceled fights and didn't resign him. UFC absolutely controlled the outcome of the situation.
@@notqt1367amongst a lot other reasons... like sucker punching his opponent in a hotel lobby, treating staff like trash, creating massive drama and not delivering come fight night, cheating throughout the entire fight, bragging about his (failed) dealings with UFC's competition, etc. Mokaev did everything to get fired.
