What lengthy “Zelda” side quest were you glad to finally put to rest? Let us know in the comments! Click here for more Zelda videos: ru-vid.com/group/PLCXa2CCtHXq2rf_GV6DPLSCZxS9sNWLHJ
mojoplays, I'd DARE you of trying to collect ALL 900 Korok Seeds......... TWICE in Breath Of The Wild(on BOTH modes)! It's pretty much a guarantee you'll end up having korok seed PTSD like I now have from having to hear that "Yahaha, twee-hee" 1800 FRIGGIN' TIMES 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦!!
Out of all of these long sidequest, Anju and Kafei is my favorite. Idk but that running around and changing masks is worth it, reuniting the couple finally before the end befalls on them.
I found getting all of the kinstones done in Minish Cap more tedious, there’s no list to tell you who you have and haven’t fused with and some characters aren’t available anymore in town at the end
The WWHD figurine sidequest also let's you dump all 12 photos in your pictobox at once, and he will make them all in one day, vs the original, where you could only show him one picture a day, and then go play the song of passing twice every time. It was an INSANE amount of time. And I think I 100% completed it on the original GC version 3 times.
The main reward for getting all the Koroks is not the poop but getting Hetsu to dance as much as you want. In TotK you can have him do either his dance from TotK or BotW. He’s just gotta dance.
That Piece of Heart from Minish Cap should have been on the other side of the wall. What the heck was Capcom thinking, leaving anyone not willing to pay out the nose in Seashells to be taunted by a perpetually empty space in not only the life gauge, but the Quest Status Screen? The Sound Test I can understand locking behind that side-quest, but not a Piece of Heart.
I believe I heard once that if you got the absurdly perfect luck of always getting a new figurine from the machine, you'd still be sitting there just navigating the menu for over 45 minutes. Realistically though, it's going to take days, with you swimming in Picolyte and cutting an entire countryside's worth of grass, because once all the big sources of shells are used up, the most efficient way of getting shells is to buy the group of 30 for 300 Rupees from the Hyrule Town Shop. And since you can only hold a maximum of 999 rupees, that means you can buy just 90 shells per full wallet, or just 60 if you keep enough Rupees to buy the next round of Picolyte. The shells are traded evenly for percentage chance of a new figurine, 90 shells isn't even enough to guarantee a new one! You could instead try cutting out the middle man and buy the green Picolyte and get shells directly from the cut grass, but it seems like you get less shells than the rupees you get using the yellow Picolyte. It's just an absurd waste of time all around.
@@sparrowflyaway Sadly the only "fast" way to farm shells by that point is to buy the rupee pycolite (i forgot which color it is), go to the Trilby Highlands and use the Hurricane Spin to farm 999 rupees and buy 90 shells before heading back to the highlands to continue farming rupees until you max up to 999 and repeat the process. This way you can at least ensure 9 new figurines yet that obviously won't spare you from wasting a whole hour going through the whole process of farming rupees/shells to get those last figurines.
Something worth mentioning about the Minish Cap's figurine quest: the Hyrule Castle town shop sells 30 Mysterious Shells for 200 rupees. While exploring Hyrule for shells, keep this in mind as all the money you accrue along the way can come in handy.
I agree with the Minish Cap one, its annoying to grind secret seashells just to get the same figurine which make your grind in vain. 😢. The RNG on that sidequest is Pain incarnate.
The Legend of Zelda from Nintendo is my all time favourite video game franchise ever, my favourite Zelda games are A Link to the Past, Adventure of Link, Spirit Track, Ocarinas of Time, Majora's Mask, Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, A Link Between Worlds, Tri Force Heroes, The Wind Waker HD and Breath of the Wild, haven't played Tears of the Kingdom yet, but I believe it's good and can't wait i'm so excited for Echoes of Wisdom coming in september 26 2 days before my birthday in september 28! About of The Longest Legend of Zelda Side Quests The Poe Souls Twilight Princess, Batreaux's Gratitude Skyward Sword, The Nintendo Gallery The Wind Waker HD, Mother Maiamai's Missing Children A Link Between Worlds and collecting every Korok seeds in Botw and Totk coming to my mind when i'm thinking about The Longest Zelda games Side Quests that video was good because it's about Zelda! 😍❤🔥
I've never finished the bug catching side questing in Twilight princess personally. Also honorable mention to the marble maze in the same game, that was abysmal to play with the wii remote motion controls
One thing that helps with bubblefrog hunting is that a checkmark will appear on the cave that you slayed a frog in, which helps knowing what caves are done, particularly when you use the tree to identify caves.
The minish cap gallery is made loads easier on nso using rewind function and suspend points. Just cheat at the rupee game over and over then buy the mysterious shells from the shop, also i bet 1 shell for more than 50% of the figures and rewound it and exited if I didn't get a new one, saved shells this way.
I 100% completed the Wii version of Twilight Princess. What’s not talked about is finding a Poe but then disappearing by the time you get there and have to wait until it’s night time in the game because you can’t sleep travel or time travel
Korok seeds are the worst. You’ve already finished the game by the time you’ve got 10% of them done, so you never get to use the weapon slots. Weapon slots should be linked to something campaign related.
I was much more annoyed at the goron trading and watering the trees in wind waker, ESPECIALLY the trees. I think (correct me if im wrong) they made that quest easier in the HD remake but that forest water having an invisible timer for when it expired, no swift sail and NO fast travel. Tedious for one piece of heart
As much as I hate how the recent entries have removed traditional dungeons, items and better plot and somehow deciding to keep long and time consuming side quests with useless and unhelpful rewards I actually loved Koltin quest in becoming a Staori
I regret Poe one from Twilight Princess. It's not worth it in the end, so I just get the 20 minimum. I still do the Nintendo Gallery one. It's due to my love for taking pictures anyway, and this gave me a fun challenge to do. Unlike the Poes, you slowly see all of your hard work pay off over time because you see each of the sections fill up. The hardest pictures for me to get are always that one fish who fills out your map and getting Cyclos (sp?). Oh the one guy who likes to auction is hard too because in the original game at least, you could only get a decent picture of him at the auction (and he appears at every one too). And yes I only played the OG version because I never got the remaster for one very important reason- colors are so saturated that it hurts my eyes and I physically can't play it for that reason. I just played this game again! This one is fun to play and I am glad the game helps you whenever it can. I never needed a guide for this one like I have with other side quests. Oi, the Gold Skulltulas one is one I did once and will never again because it's the TP Poes situation all over again. It's only worth going after 50 here, but it's not worth getting all 100 because you just get rubees in the end (which you REALLY don't need by this point in the game). The Koroks one from BoTW is one I'll NEVER complete because that's a crazy huge number and I find enough to get enough weapon, bow, and shield inventories. Heck the only thing I 100% in the game now is just finding all of the memories and those towers. This game is just too big for me honestly.
It should be mentioned that Koltin's Fabric (like all fabrics in Tears of the Kingdom) is cosmetic and does not provide any boost or special ability to Link's paraglider. Whether it is worth the effort to collect every Bubbul gem to obtain the fabric depends on the player. At least the rewards before Koltin's Fabric are worth getting.
Depending on how you judge a side-quest's length, whether actual time sunk into it to complete, how spread across the game its from the quest objectives are, or how much farther into the game you have to be from where you can start the quest in order to complete it, the title of longest is very different. For example, if you judge length based on how far into the game you have to be, there is one that takes the uncontested first place. Wind Waker's Nintendo Gallery can only be fully completed in the Second Quest. Even if you manage to get a Pictograph of everything in the game and show them to Carlov to have them turned into Figurines, the Nintendo Gallery never enters the state where Carlov has turned it over to Link until you're playing on a Clear Data file. The Nintendo Gallery is open from the start on a Clear Data file even though you can't reach it without using glitches until you've gotten Din's Pearl, and progress carries over from the file the Clear Data was made from.
False, the figurine collection CAN be completed during the first playthrough, though it's a lot harder. I don't know where you're getting the "never enters the state where Carlov has turned it over to Link until you're playing on a Clear Data file" from
When I played windwaker as a teen, I actually got all the pictograph pictures! (I believe with a guide for missable ones) As well all the figurines in Minish Cap and golden skulltulas several times in ocarina of time! (Yes, I try to 100% my games lol)
I completed the first side quest shown in the video (The Demon one in Skyward Sword). 0:09 I am never doing that again. I don't know why I did it more than once. Never finished Rabbitland Rescue. I see the player has got the golden train. I am able to get that. I did complete the Poe Souls. I don't think I did this outside the HD version. I have finished the Nintendo Gallery. I advise doing this in the HD version since it's kind of a pain to do on the Game Cube. 5:36 I think I also did that one. I used cheats to get 100 gold Skulltulas. I found all the Addison signs but I didn't feel like looking for all the Bubbul Gems. 9:05 GOMENESAI! My sister is actually crazy enough to go after all the Koroks. I think she was complaining about missing 3 in Tears of the Kingdom. I don't have the patience for this and it's not worth it. 11:14 You said no change. That's not true. The poop looks different.
Might have not been on the list. O.o.T has another side quest, the big goron sword. It's more time consuming then anything. And can be a tad frustrating.
@@jamesmcdavid1673 and there are other methods of beating him sure. It's just something you can do, if you want all weapons. It's just a tedious quest.
12:06 - what is funny there is a video on this that the probability doesnt mean a thing and everything is RNG and you would have to literally hope to win lottery odds.
I think the 1000 Korok seeds from TOTK is objectively the longest, with BOTW's 900 being a very close second. The Gacha from MC is kind of luck based and clearly does not take as long to farm enough shells compared to all the uber length distances for the numerous Korok Seeds. Or simply using the Save/Reload feature to rig the RNG; or nowadays most people would just user the faster Save State abuse.
I never want to do those sidequest in Zelda games I've played except A Link Between Worlds. After seeing what Nintendo did to the Korok Seeds of Breath of the Wild alongside other issues, I quit being a Zelda fan for the rest of my life.
I played Twilight Princess. I had 59 poe souls and the game glitched or I messed up and lost the last soul. Sucked as everything else, even the sled minigame, had been accomplished and I had all 20 hearts. I still feel broken all these years later about it
That is brutal. What they didn't mention in the video is Poe souls can only be found at night and there's no way to directly control the day/night cycle. So finding them is less likely and if you're hunting them specifically you spend a lot of time waiting around
No, the only thing that features mutually-exclusive rewards is whether you give the priority mail to Aroma (to receive a bottle) or the Postman (to receive his mask). The Couple's Mask is still the ultimate reward as long as you manage to do the rest
@@skc4188 Mind you in order for the Anju-Kafei quest to be completed you must let Sakon rob the Bomb Shop owner's mother during the night of the first day in order for him return to his hideout in the Third Day. That means that if you're playing the game for the first time you might miss collecting the Blast Mask in order to claim the Couple's Mask instead.
@@javiervasquez625 The thing about the Blast Mask isn't part of the A/K sidequest per se, it's just something you have to avoid doing if you're doing A/K. Getting the Blast Mask is done when you're looking for the All-Night Mask, so it's a separate questline that you can do in another 3-day cycle
You guys ominously* left out Zelda in the vid yesterday about best #style #taylorswift and know you’re milking again. About to make lon lon reference. Wager that will be at universal. *edit: perhaps bit overstated. Ganond takes me there.
Yea as soon as I read the requirements for Wind Waker I was instantly out. Screw that crap just like the Korok seeds in BotW and TotK. It’s great the developers wanted to give us more side quests but holy F*Balls some of these side quests are just BS with a useless reward.
BOTW & Totk side quests have been the most useless side quests ever. Whether it’s tree poop or 20 rupees you get as rewards, every Zelda game before hand was better 😊
