Why is Uriah Hall not here? He's literally a 99 overall character being controlled by an 8 yr old and I hate watching him lose to people im CERTAIN he can beat.
@@amadeuschavez. the problem is it feels like no close to him brought it up with him. You scared about gassing? Let’s double down on cardio and make sure we know you can go 25 mins. Just seems like they watched him do the same thing over and over while expecting different results
@@Dukeflyhawker lucky? How was he lucky? He was knocking people out left and right. Robbie lawler who at the time was the best in his career was putting on brawls with people. Just being a monster and tyron went in and just demolished him. But yeah he was lucky
Michael Johnson is one of the most underrated LW of all time. The guy can beat most of the division one day but get dominated the other day. He is one of the people I was surprised never became champion.
You know Woodley is a frustrating af dude to watch when Wonderboy is actually getting mad because the dude won't throw his hands. If you make the NMF mad, you're definitely doing something wrong
I've said this for the longest time, Woodleys style never changed, it just stopped working, people feared what woodley could do and gave him respect in the cage so it worked for him, once people realised the reality that all he had was an overland, they started punishing him, especially people who could offensively grapple. Look at the Rory fight, the Sheilds fight with woodley. I swear he never changed, maybe some explosiveness left him and some dedication, but unless woodley landed the counter overhand, he typically just backed up against the cage for his career after getting aggressive against marquardt and being banished from consciousness for it
@@lawngjawn9094 that's definitely the worst one. I actually think he's stalking me in some way, because every time I comment under a famous video and it starts getting big, he'll always be the first to reply even though he wouldn't be spamming anyone else.
Man how is Overeem not on this list. He literally swaps between savage & back-pain Derrick Lewis. He has years of training & def the skills to put it together but never seems to be able to.
Questionable fight IQ combined with overconfidence and a suspect chin ruined Overeem's career. He had everything to become a UFC champion, and he came up short every single time. Early on he was getting finished in fights he was both favoured to win and winning until he made a dumb decision that got him finished. He single-handily gave Travis Browne, Ben Rothwell and Bigfoot Silva some of the biggest victories of their careers. The Stipe fight really pisses me off too, Reem had that fight wrapped-up and he snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
He is the only fighter ever to hold a k-1 belt and a major mma belt at the same time. He did quite a bit in his career and once heavy testing came in he was never the same.
@@dookies2332 Ryan has always fought like that. It’s similar to Tyron in that it just stopped working. The Maynard fight is a good example of it working yet still being frustrating
When Woodley was champion, I got so much heat because I used to say he was the same guy he was when he lost to Rory in 2014, and people said I was just hating and that I didn’t know the game. I couldn’t have been more right about a fighter lol.
Dude same 😂 When people were defending him against Dana in the lead up to Till I was like I think you guys forgot why Tyron isn’t as highly touted as he is. It’s not because of Dana, the dude is just a wildly inconsistent fighter that fights off of his back foot. Looking at his ability and physique you would expect more, but it’s almost always a dice toss and even more so when he fights high level fights.
@@chadwickwilliams7238 seriously lmao. I saw people claiming Woodley was the most well rounded fighter in the UFC and I couldn’t believe what I was hearing 😂 like literally all he has is an overhand right. I knew Usman was gonna do what he did to Woodley. Woodley absolutely sucks against guys that know how to mix it up. He’s really only ever beaten one trick ponies in his whole UFC career.
I’m glad you have Tyrone as your thumbnail because my GOD! I was screaming at the top of my lungs at my tv screen for Tyrone to let his hands go vs Jake Paul. It was like playing a video game online and the controller dies midfight
Right omg that fight made me wanna step in there myself, let his moms get disrespected, wanted to touch gloves and fought very passive and scared smh. Made ufc fighters look soft. Hopefully Jorge finishes the job this time for the community 💪😎
I feel the diaz brothers, cody "fence grinding" garbrandt, derrick "this hand will land eventually" lewis, uriah "PTSD" hall, and justin "for the love of god slow down" gaethje are on this list
@@osio7528 ikr that's why it wasn't surprising he lost to Strickland. That ultimate fighter injury really made him hesitate and once he broke woodman's leg I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason he relapsed to that behavior.
I never know what Tyron is thinking these days. Not only does he continuously let himself down but he also lets the audience down. The people come to see a fight, not a standing contest. I respect the man who goes out and fights his heart out and loses a lot more than the man who loses because they never fought in the first place.
Usman, Gilbert and Colby completely outclassed him and got so much hate for not pulling the trigger. Actually tried to let the hands go vs Luque and got choked out. Now vs Jake he was back to being gun shy scared shitless of making a mistake and getting koed by a youtuber.
When I first saw the title, I thought Michael Johnson would be #1 on the list. The man has made some of the very best fighters in the world look like amateurs, but he also has losses to total no-name opponents. In addition to that, he will often be completely dominating a fight up to the second he loses. Such a confusing fighter and frustrating to watch.
I would put Darren till on here because he has the potential to be champion, but has not developed his wrestling and seems to make easily correctable mistakes
In Till's defense, being in England, he might simply not have the resources there to get his wrestling to where it needs to be. It might be time for him to move to the US and join one of the big name MMA gyms that has a track record of producing champs.
@@adammtroutman Woodley vs Till, Ferguson vs Lee and Craig vs Hill were two Submissions and a Submissionattempt resulting in a dislocated arm followed by Ground and Pound.
Holy cow, talk bout serendipity! i was literally just talking about that scene in saving private Ryan TODAY!!!! thats a trip seein that in the vid ! WOW
Honorable mentions without particular ranking: 1. Stephen Thompson - has an awesome and tricky style but in some fights, can't let his hands go, especially when matched up against higher-ranked grapplers. 2. Anthony Pettis (when he was still in the UFC) - he blew up, had awesome highlights and then was never the same again. Became inconsistent. 3. Uriah Hall - same as Pettis 4. Kelvin Gastelum - easily a top 5 fighter at welterweight but has no discipline to make the weight so he ends up losing to bigger guys at middleweight. 5. Anybody else come to mind?
Alistair Overeem - Suspect chin held back even further with questionable fight IQ. Many examples of Overeem getting KO'd in fights he was winning, and against opponents he should have beaten. He never became a UFC champion because of this even though he easily had the potential to do so.
People always point to the Usman fight but I think the Rory McDonald and the Wonderboy fights are the fights that really broke Woodley’s confidence, after those fights he became passive and too afraid to engage first he just wanted to wait and counter all day
All jokes aside, chael is undefeated and undisputed so idk why he’s on this list, he smashed Silva twice and made Jon lick Dana’s head when they fought
4:42 Good times I don't understand that EA hasn't put in a Pride mode yet. They probably had the idea but scrapped it just to put it into the next game
Tito tapped out against chael, and i feel like you can’t say he is frustrating for losing to fighters considered to be the greatest of all time, especially since jones was a bigger man on steriods and anderson kept grabbing his shorts in their second fight (which caused the spinning backfist)
Wonderboy should be on this list, has amazing knockouts and fights on his resumes and then in the biggest fights (Tyron and Gilbert) just stands there the whole time.
A cautionary tale of not knowing when to quit. Dana also deserves to be blamed for not saying no to BJ, he failed to save BJ from himself and told everyone to just shut up and deal with it.
It's a different type of frustration but I'll put Jon Jones on here, cause you never know what kind of stupid, at times outright evil shit he'll be doing either during or after his fights. And the fact that he's touted as the GOAT for most MMA fans makes it much more embarrassing.
@@kingmuizz708 And the many videos wherein he's in this calm, enlightened state talking some positivity makes it even more cringe. Like dude... we know you're not all about that, you're a public figure and you tried to escape from almost fucking killing a pregnant lady. Please shut the fuck up.
