I was thinking the same thing, I also can't really tell why he thinks it isn't feasible to make these into songs. He could make a whole album just expanding on these riffs, use one for each song lmao. 5 was my far my favorite one :)
In a new song we're writing, we transition out of a breakdown into the main riff using the "leave no fret untouched." My drummer asked me how to play it and I said "3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12"

If FYS needs a third guitarist then Alex is their guy! Seriously speaking these are some amazing riffs you SHOULD use in songs. Bonus points for wearing short shorts while filming this :D That's a super easycore thing to do.
Basically just program the kick to match the guitar. Add the snare appropriately (usually when there’s a pause). Then add some kind of cymbal to keep steady time.
@@leviathan3630 Just put snare on 2 and 4, sprinkle in ghost notes, then put a few in wherever the melody part gets most intense, in sync with the melody.

The scientific test to check if you have a good easycore riff is to close your eyes and listen for the disembodied voices of Alan and Dan singing over it.
I'll see if you have more like this, but could you make a how to easycore, how to pop punk, and how to hardcore? A real one. This is cool would be curious how you'd do a video like that.
