How is the system in 2005 not having a wifi adapter built in a bad thing? Wifi wasn't so big until the late 2000s...and how was anyone "forced" to pay for the HD DVD add on? No one was FORCED to pay for one.
Got a series x recently and I'm enjoying every second. I also plan on getting a ps5 to play Spider-Man. Right now I'm waiting to see if Sony releases it in black, since I think the ps5 looks cooler in black.
Speaking for the Xbox One, yes always on drm sucked at the time but it's pretty much the norm now, and more and more people are going digital compared to physical with media in general, so some might argue that Microsoft was too ahead of the time when they released the Xbox One.
I agree with some of this list. Also, I really miss the Kinect and HDMI in. Microsoft does a lot of this ahead of its time and some just don’t go over well. They really do need more exclusives though.

Yeah, Microsoft did had some fails. Can't argue with that even though we own the consoles for a long time and still works. some of us are happy and some of us are disappointed what free games they throw out for gold membership. And all the companies are the same Nintendo, Xbox, PC and PlayStation, all going to fail and struggle before they can succeed on any game.
Buying up whole publishers to keep games off competing platforms is inherently very anti consumer but at least Bethesda are a bad joke of a company so I'm sure people aren't too bothered tbf
Microsoft can be more competitive now but further accusitions like that shouldn't be allowed because no one wants a monopoly, which is something Microsoft is infamous for

Fan boys in general drive me crazy. I love both for what they offer. Gamepass is cool asf. Playstations exclusives are awesome. I get enjoyment out of both for different reasons.
Watchmojo did a video last year where the ps5 wasn't even shown and people kept speculating what it'll look like, but they still gave the console the win on looks and over the Xbox Series X. How dare you say that allowing PC gamers to play their games is a terrible thing?!? Some people can't afford to buy new consoles every few years, so they have to use their PC's because that's all they have. And, PC's also have much more inclusive software which allows people with disabilities to play with special controllers, so saying that being open to having more customers overall because they operate on two platforms is very narrowminded and elitist.
I agree with this exactly, it was dumb to bring that up as something “bad” they’ve did. PC’s are also a great way to enjoy gaming and if that’s their preferred choice then that’s great. As you said it is more friendly with people with disabilities as well. Very dumb of Watch Mojo.
Not denying the bad shit Microsoft has done but not mentioning that a lot of Sony exclusives have been available to play on PC through PS Now for years and Sony is now releasing some of them on Steam shows how bias this video is. Like, if you have a good internet connection, you can play on PC every God of War game except 4, Uncharted 1-3, HZD, MGS 4, every Infamous game, most of the Ratchet and Clank games, Medivel Remake, Killzone games, Resistance, The Last of Us. Not to mention that they add some recent exclusives on the service for like 4 months like Days Gone, Spiderman and GoW 4.
The thing that microsoft does that's great is that they let you play their exclusives on more platforms than one, and if you buy games from the Microsoft Store, you can play them on Xbox AND PC. Very useful if you want to play on your Xbox at home and on your laptop at work.
@ 8:07 “Had none of the exclusives”? Did launch titles like Ryse, Dead Rising 3, and Forza 5 suddenly not count? While the DRM was initially planned it was never implemented because of the backlash. Also how is porting Xbox games to PC bad? Not everyone is a PC gamer and even Sony may be getting that message.
Despite how annoyed we were by the lack of game marketing several years ago, now many of use our consoles for tons of multimedia services -- I'd actually say I use it to stream more than gaming these days, so hey... maybe they were ahead of the curve ;)

I agree sony has been making bad moves lately launching ps5 with no games, closing studios left and right, and bringing exclusive games to pc. Now we all know Microsoft did the same thing with gamepass and bringing xbox games to pc but the whole point of game consoles was the exclusive content which is lacking anymore.

I think the camera was fine. It just didn’t have to be bundled with the console. Plus it was dumb to remove the kinect port from the later consoles 😑 like I still have one and cant use it do video streams now! Also having 1 Usb slot in front is dumb. Have 2 please!

1. The ONLY reason why people turn to the 360 and DON'T associate it with the death of Microsoft's console career is because what Sony did with the PS3 was also bad (if not worse) what with the inferior ports and outrageous price at launch.

The 360 had a lot of great games, but it was a poorly made system. The One is a much better made machine, but just doesnt have as many exclusives. I love my xbox one btw.
You don't need an Xbox if you have a decent PC. If you don't want to miss a Game, then you should own a PC, a Switch and a Playstation. Preferably PS4, PS4 Pro or PS5.

Death Stranding was always a timed exclusive from the get go, Hideo Kojima confirmed that after Death Stranding initially launched on PS4. Thus, it was never a 1st party Sony title.

obviously forgot to mention that MS response to RRoD was extending warranty by a year and anyone affected by it could get a replacement console free of charge. Video is extremely biased to be honest... MS always has learned from the mistakes and customers bashing. Even the original Xbox when launched and they reducing the price a month after launch and they offered two games and a controller completely for free to however bought it at the original price... And the 360 launch add ons fail to mention lots of people back then did not see it as needed to have wifi or storage, people just wanted to play games directly from the disk in a time when games did not need gigantic installations on launch day... this held truth a few years later with the launch of the Arcade version, again, a brand new cheaper console that you can just pop in disks and play. I do have to admit, the xbox one s being diskless is bad for second hand physical games, but honestly... look at the pc market and hos it's now completely digital... So is MS the big bad boggie console villain or following a very successfull trend on the pc market?
I don't have anything personal agianst Microsoft because I've never had a Xbox. But there is still one thing I will never forgive them for. Buying Rare and making Banjo and Kazooie look bad.
There's one thing i don't like about All Digital on Consoles. And that is that you're limited to Store Prices. I'm okay with digital on PC because frankly it's a hassle to install from Disc. And another good thing about Digital on PC is that, there are Key Seller were you can most of the Times, find good Bargains.
Well, Right now, they are the definitely the most understanding if the bunch. In the past 2-3 years they've made a whole makeover and it's clear that they put the gamers as priority. This video really annoys me because lately they've been doing God's work.
As an Xbox fan, I'm pleased. I can play the last two decades of my favorite games on Xbox One or Series X and the future looks promising. They understand the fans, people just want different things.

Listen I'm a big time xbox guy and have been for a long time. And as one such person, let me tell you. The *original* Xbox One was TRASH. Yes it became better - _after several years_ - but good god man, they never should have even tried that the way they originally wanted to do it. That was horrid. And that statement from Don Mattrick about staying on the 360 if you couldn't manage to connect to the internet every 24 hours... I literally have no words. I'm glad he's gone.
Xbox charging for Live, while PS3 got hacked because it was free. Just saying, I love all 3 of the main consoles, but this list is very bias with how much they hate on Xbox and then turn around and try to make Sony seem like the best thing since sliced bread.
and don't forget how hard it is to change the hard drive on Xbox 360 and Xbox One compared to PS3 and PS4 and how small the biggest hard drive the Xbox 360 supported compared to PS3 and you can't even change the hard drive on Xbox One because if you do you will void the warranty I mean it is cool that the Xbox One supports 16TB but it would be better if it was as easy to switch it out like on PS4 and you didn't void the warranty and if there was the latest system software that you could download from their website

The worst thing they ever did was give the Halo franchise to 343i. They have completely ruined Halo, the games they have made are nothing short of abysmal.
I throughly enjoy Halo 4. I would say Halo 5’s multiplayer is amazing. Its story was weak but most aspects of the campaign were fun. They have had some great updates for MCC lately.
Yeah I do agree with that that's one thing I didn't like one time I had a copy of GTA and I knocked over my Xbox scratched my whole CD like the one you just shoulders
