I genuinely wish that some people on the couch could just let Suraj and Rana(they seem to have the most genuine reactions) enjoy the freaking show instead of judging them for getting into it? Let them form their own opinions please
They just want them to mention it is all. Like Micky, they all say how he loves the show so he actually says it to the audience. It's just to make them discuss more.
I feel they don't like the show too, seems more they looking down on the show, if you don't like it, don't reaction any more, my appreciation for Suraj and Rana, only the two seem really enjoy the show 💯
Lígia Dantas it’s honestly like they like it but they’re trying hard to make themselves not... idk if it is cuz it’s on the CW or what... but it’s like they believe the show is below their standards for a good show no matter how much they get into it
One thing about Bellamy. He wasn't around for the formation of the Alliance. He's mainly known the hostility of the grounders. Ppl like Clarke and Octavia has been at the center of Grounder society and culture. Bellamy's isolation while undercover is coloring his point of view.
I just think it's unintelligent writing to create tension. Bellamy's actions make no sense for his character progression. I love this show but writers are humans too, they make bad choices like everyone else, and i believe the writers messed up Bellamy this season. Thankfully, his character gets past this.
Objectively what Bellamy wants to do is wrong, but he’s only ever seen one side of the grounders and that is betrayal. He was betrayed by them in mount weather when Lexa broke the alliance and then again by Ice Nation. Obviously he would think that they would brake the alliance again. He thinks he’s protecting his people, and his judgment is being clouded by all the loss and suffering he’s experienced.
Agreed. But the writers did not show that progression in Bellamy. They did not do a great job in communicating Bellamy's character with the audience. It's okay, writers are humans too, they can make mistakes/bad choices. Still love the show.
also some people say bellamy gets out of character this season but that's not true at all. The grounders have only ever shown him violence and betrayal (lincoln is the exception). He has never liked them and it makes sense for him to do this. Also, Bellamy makes rash decisions. He isn't a calculating person. And Lincoln has been living with skaikru for 3 months so of course they wouldn't view him as a grounder
Lincoln and Indra, both of which aren't even Ice Nation. It makes sense if Bellamy got mad at Ice Nation and attacked them, but with Lexa and all the other clans? Makes no sense. Makes sense with Pike but Bellamy? No, he knows better. Not only that, but his turn also felt too rushed and not earned (fleshed out), which is why so many people are saying it's OOC. Even Bob Morley had a hard time understanding Bellamy this arc. How I saw it, Bellamy had some of his development thrown out the window solely to serve the plot. JRoth even stated as much more or less in one of his interviews. He said he thought S2 Bellamy was too good, thus S3 Bellamy happened.
Unfortunately Bellamy has done stupid ass decision the whole time. The only time he kinda had a streak was when he infiltrated Mount weather. Hes just back onto his idiot streak and kinda continues that until the bitter end.
@Clemson Natty Champs Hold That L Bama x2! As mich as I like GoT it lost a lot of its luster long before they ran out of books. At least with the 100 you get something new each season that escalates things in a nice way that doesn't feel like it is taking forever to happen.
@Clemson Natty Champs Hold That L Bama x2!No not trolling, but I can see that you are getting salty so let's agree to disagree because I have far more important things to do at the moment than to watch you descend into the GoT fanboy salt mines.
You are correct Rana; the Ice Nation Queen IS from desperate housewives. She's the Narrator; the one who was"missing" for most of the show's entire run. But she's also Lilian Luthor on Supergirl.
@@dwnkaomwn3953 Yeah, she was the ship captain. But she died so I have no idea how they brought her back; also I only saw the one. The sequels I tried to watch but gave up after only a few minutes into them.
season 4 is the best season....there is no one to fight and you cannot win against the enemy...everyone had to work together...that was such a good season...i am sure everyone would freaking love it
The 100 is definitely not one of the best show ever written, not by a long shot, HOWERVER, there's some great moments, for me it's still enjoyable, there are some downers in this season, but it's still good. I just think if some of you really hate it, for goodness sake just stop watching it, because everything you're gonna say about it even if u have a point, it's gonna come off like u just need to make a bad comment about everything. Unlike when suraj or rana criticize, when these guys do it we can actually see their point because they enjoy it when it's worth enjoying, and criticize when is worth criticizing. No hate, i really enjoy u all! It just needed to be said. Thanks!
monalisa I like the different opinions on the couch whether it’s criticism or praise I want to see their raw reactions not worrying about holding their tongue so they don’t offend people
@@bmoore1908 the thing is its not a raw reaction. 4 people on the couch have seen the show before and their opinions (all seem to be negative by the way) are clouding the others viewing. If all my friends tell me a show I havent watched is terrible I'm gonna go into the show thinking its terrible. I like criticism too but I think having people who have seen the show already contributing their opinions to the discussions is not fair to the ones who are going through it for the first time.
"I don't care about Jaha." man, you're in for a surprise! Wick's actor was fired because of comments he made, but it was the best thing for Raven. Ricky Whittle (Lincoln) was treated unfairly on the show that he asked to be out, and it's obvious in this season that Lincoln was sidelined. this season was Raven\Murphy\Allie season to shine
Bellamy may know Indra and Lincoln, but he does not know Grounders as a whole. All he knows is betrayal and violence when it comes to them. Every single time he has engaged with the Grounders, they have betrayed him. From his perspective, they tried to kill Clarke at Finn's peace talks, they started a war for no reason (he didn't get to hear why they attacked), when he counted on Lexa's backup to shut down the mountain she betrayed them and he was forced to kill an entire civilization, and then when he trusted the word of one of the few Grounders he feels he can trust when she said the summit was a trap, he got 49 people from Farm Station killed. Remember that Bellamy, and the vast majority of Skaikru, do not have the same experience with the Grounders that our POV characters have. We are following the leadership of Skaikru, and the vast majority of them probably aren't the biggest fans of Grounders. As far as Farm Station goes, I maintain that this season should have opened with a flashback to what happened to them, followed by a time lapse ending in them reuniting with Alpha Station (Arkadia), and then have them go off and find Clarke. Pike does have his reasons, and they aren't all xenophobic, but they just don't do a great job of showing his actual reasons straight away. Keep watching, it does get better.
Just wished they did a better job showing all of that. With Bellamy, I can kind of understand even though it could've been better, but Pike and Farm Station? At least show something as opposed to just telling us what they went through.
I'm not looking for good guys , there were only 2 good guy in shaw , wells and harper maybe monty third one . I am saying that lexa could became best commander of grounders by taking out their longest and biggest enemy , instead she betreyed her allys , dishonored her people and when clarke won agains MW and became oneheda lexa became valnurable and weak and she lose power and control over her people and war started because of that ,
Let me explain Bellamy...he risked his life in season 2 to save the grounders and they left him and his people to die, and then echo who he saved double crossed him and a lot of other people died including his girlfriend...he had a reason not to trust the grounders any more.
@@latraeosborne3287 I repeat...she left him in mount weather to die, after he risked his life to free her people...something like that would be hard to forgive.
@@lucile4230 Yeah only the beginning episodes and the finale episodes are really good but in the middle, it's kinda stagnant, moving around the same place with the same problems not being resolved lol
Dean Li It was stagnant at times but it was set up really well, I don’t mind shows that sometimes treck along as long as they build the story properly..which they did unlike some shows *cough* Game of Thrones *cough*
The thing is, most Bellarke shippers don't show up if there's no bellarke going on whatsoever in an episode, because they understand not everything is about their ship, unlike someone else :)
bellamy's character is in constant change: on the fisrt season we hate him, on the second season we love him, on the third season we hate him again...and that's pretty much how everything goes
Which kinda sucks since instead of keeping the incredible development, they just throw it aside at times to serve the plot. JRoth even said that S2 Bellamy was too good and thus, S3 Bellamy happened.
who the hell hated him in season 1? he was only kind of shitty in the first couple of episodes but then they fleshed him out more and his reasoning for doing things was understandable. this season was the first time he did objectively wrong or "bad" things
It's painful but I do understand Bell during this arc. He's very emotionally driven and the truth is that so far he's only truly had bad interactions with grounders, he's friends with Lincoln but even Lincoln hs said he is different from most grounders. The two times he let himself trust a grounder, that wasn't Lincoln, he was betrayed. I'm hardcore on the idea that you should see people as individuals and therefore I do not agree with what he did, but I understand it.
@@DivaQuinzel Bellamy massacred people in their sleep. People who were there to defend them. There is no defense. 100% cowardly and pathetic. This is one of the biggest problems of this show. The writers make characters do this kind of shit for the plot. Other than this arc Bellamy is reasonable and knows right from wrong. At least in situations of this kind of magnitude. What Finn did was child's play compared to this. Finn's 180 turn was another example of shit writing.
Pike and bellamy were right to start war with grounders . This episode shows that , skaikru was left at M.Weather by grounders , than they got atack by azgeda and every clan help icequeen to overthrew lexa , so including trikru they were against them ,
@@verpaali While there is no excuse for Bellamy's action, the grounders weren't there to 100% protect them, remember that these are the same people that sold them out to the Mountian Men and would have turned on them on a dime (as they tend to do all the time) if they some much as lift the wrong finger. Also, you have to take Bellamy's state of mind into account, besides, it's not like the series doesn't deal with it. With that said, what Bellamy did is NOWHERE close to Finn killing innocent villagers (Bellamy kills warriors), especially kids.
@@unversedhero6028 The deal with the Mountain men was made by Lexa. And she did not sold them out. She just left them out of the deal. I believe that was a political move and Skaikru were not her people. There was ZERO indication these Grounders would turn on them and they pledged to defend them. While these were warriors the cowardly way they backstabbed them in their sleep was just way worse than some people here try to make it be. They were allies. Facing the other way. In their sleep. Just pathetic af. Btw while you say there was no excuse you make it seem there is plenty. Bellamy is one of my favorite characters on this show but i don't want to make fan fiction to my self that what he did was somehow reasonable and justified. I still think he deserved to die for what he did here.
When it comes to favorite shows you can't really tell someone what's supposed to be their favorite. People hate some shows and love others based on a lot of things so I don't agree with trying to convince people that they are supposed to have the same negative opinion as others or that everyone should think other series are better just because they do. Despite the shit talking I've heard from people for years about this show, I still enjoy it because it's one of my favorites (not anyone else's, but mine).
I've watched both, I like both, and The Expanse is light years better than the 100. I'm not knocking the 100 I think it's a really good show, but the Expanse is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite show of all time.
Pike came to Bellamy at his weakest moment. He put his trust in Echo, and it cost him the lives of his people. Filled with regret and self-loathing, Pike took advantage of that and directed his anger towards the grounders. Classic manipulation.
Problem is, that it still doesn't make much sense. Bellamy knows that not all grounders are bad, and the moment Echo left the group he knew it was Ice Nation. If he wanted to wipe out the Ice Nation, he'd have a legitimate reason. But he knew what Clarke and Kane were doing in Polis and that those grounders stationed outside of their camp were friendly, and were meant to protect them from the other clans. The writing for this portion of the show in regards to Bellamy's character was poor.
@@gabrielcarrasco8414 I agree that Bellamy siding with Pike to target all grounders, regardless of allegiances , is a terrible idea. However, if I was going to make sense of his irrational decision, I'd just have to chalk it up to Bellamy not having the mental fortitude to make proper ones. The girl he liked betrayed him in the worst possible way. He trusted Echo and innocent people died for it. He feels responsible for all those lives. Right now he's just angry and that anger is clouding his judgment. It's not that different from Jasper's situation. He put his trust in his friends and as a result, lost someone he loved. Now as he drowns in grief he's making irrational decisions left and right. Going as far as to get himself in situations that could get him killed just to escape the pain. Bellamy is in the exact same mindset. He feels like he was betrayed after watching people die. Once Bellamy sees the consequences of his actions he'll understand that Pike was in the wrong. Not really a proper excuse, but that is how I rationalize it.
@@gabrielcarrasco8414 Not only that, but if Bellamy truly cared for the safety of his people, what he did here with Pike basically jeopardized some of said people (i.e. Clarke and Kane in Polis). Actually, all of his people by starting another war.
@@gabrielcarrasco8414 "Bellamy knows that not all grounders are bad," Trikru slaughtered the delinquents. Azgeda slaughtered Farm Station children. Echo (who he trusted) played him and helped Azgeda carry out a terrorist attack. Lexa (and her whole coalition) left them to die even though they were allies. That's what his experience with grounders has been like. There was only one grounder who consistently showed goodness, loyalty, and did no harm: Lincoln, who was an outcast because he didn't share his tribe's mentality or values.
Yes! I'm glad you're uploading more episodes per week. If you don't then you won't be able to catch up when Season 7 (the last one!) arrives around April. It would be a shame if you wouldn't watch the last season "live".
You guys need to watch black sails ...I'll tell you guys..you'll have good views..its definitely underrated series...great story, beautiful cinematography, I could go on , please please please be next show....
I thought it was dumb they developed Bellamy to completely destroy the development a season later too. Also Burger King is garbage and Lexa is a queen.
The first half of S3 is definitely a lot slower and a bit boring compared to the second. It’s actually a lot of people’s least favourite season. Episode 7 onwards is where the sh*t gets real. Also, since Bellamy is my all time fave character from The 100, this arc was really disappointing.
I don't agree with Bellamy's actions but I understand them. The grounders attacked them but they ended up joining together under the condition that Finn died, then Lexa betrayed them and Skaikru let it go choosing not to retaliate. Then they made peace with the grounders again because it was the smart choice, but Azgeda betrayed the coalition killing Gina(Bell's girlfriend) in the process. Because of this, he was in pain and extremely distrusting of the grounders, Pike used that pain to get Bell to follow him.
i've never been so upset watching an episode seeing smart people act soo freakin stupid! That army is to protect you and you won't stop claiming that they're going to kill you, while they're not even a full army, just a group to keep you safe! you know how big other armies are, and you still want to go to war, just because! UUUUGGGGHHHH
"he gone dum dum" Alert, suraj has caught on. Show is fun, but that you can say this about at least one character ever season so far is not a good thing
Look, the 100 is a stupid young adult show BUT, Bellamy did NOT do something out if character and that's one of the things so many people complain about with this season. He was THE most gung ho about fighting the Grounders in the past and he JUST lost the woman he loved to a grounder attack. He's never been close to the grounders other than a mild friendship with Lincoln. I don't see this as being that out or character for him. He's still just a kid and Pike is very persuasive. That, along with losing his woman in a another grounder attack and homeboy cracked.
The problem is execution though. His turn was not nearly as fleshed out or earned as it was supposed to be, which was why so many people had a problem with it. They should've kept the deleted scenes.
WHY would Kane and ABBY not tell their group about any events that happened with the grounders? They were on the ground for 3 months and they still kept secrets from their own people which makes no sense. Didn't their people ever bother to ask or find out what's happening? AND WHy would they be stupid enough to then call for an election when Abby could have just made Kane chancellor?
Bellamy is just made cause he went to "Save" Clarke and bring her back but she choose to stay and while he was gone like 50 people under his care were killed by a grounder so I get why what Pike is saying connects with him right now but if you wanna blame someone blame Echo if not for her lies about someone planning to attack Clarke to ruin the peace talks Bellamy never would have left the missile function so unguarded and prevented all those deaths and his change in character
Doesn't Nahid still like the Flash? I watch it too, and that show in seasons 3-5 isn't better than the 100 at it's worst, so I don't know why he's bringing all this negativity
I just watched this episode and I'm so annoyed at Pike I don't even want to watch anymore. Someone tell me without spoilers if it's even worth watching or am I wasting my time being annoyed
after watching this back they did bellamy like dany 1 episode to make out of character decisions .... i always thought wut pike did would have been better if bellamy was against it too
I love your reactions ❤️ I am just serious how far along are Chris and Marketa or did they stop watching to enjoy the show with all the others? Also I agree with Chris McDonald's ist way better than Burger King 😂
