I just picked up my copy of The Hundred Years' War... and can't wait to read it. I'm currently reading Gaza: An Inquest Into Its Martydom by Norman Finkelstein, another highly recommended book.

Israel doesn't have the moral high ground. If we lose friends because we are standing for right, what have we really lost? Nothing. We need to assess who we are allowing in our inner circle.
