That was a very lucky hit to the head. Judging by how far the ball bounced away, his head did not not absorb much energy from the impact. If only ever other player hit by a ball was so lucky.
this series was not even fair. game 1, Giants pitched 2 Cy Young Winners. Game 2? Greatest Post Season Pitcher ever in Madison Bumgardner. Game 3 is Stone Cold Vogelsong. Game 4 is a Perfect Cain. total shutdown of the Tigers.

Sorry if i sound like I'm buggin you, but have you been going around all kinds of different sports games ingeneral, including baseball games? If so, that's nice (and a bit helpful).
When Tom Brokaw gives respect to the players from the WW2 era - Lou Brissie being top. The most courageous athlete that ever lived. He was 1 of 3 pitchers to strike Ted Williams out twice in one game, 2 times. A 6'4 lefty legend.
3rd base runner, running on contact....ball not smashed...might not out at home. Only hindsight lets you call it wrong...and just using hindsight..makes you a moron Lol, you calling Leland stupid, ..that means you are calling HUNDREDS OF COACHES, including all the most famous, stupid....because they've all weighed playing in vs playing double play depth....and have done either.....it's a 50-50 call The risk if playing in, much less reaction time, and ball punches through....we've all seen that happen, too.....and yeah..if THAT HAD happened....you'd have said "playing in, knowing ball could get past the infield...how stupid.."
The Tigers didn't exactly cover themselves in glory in this series. Being shut down by MadBum is one thing, but also by Zito and Vogelsong? It's not like these Giants were the '66 Orioles.
as a Yankee fan I was glad seeing the Detroit tigers get embarrassed like this. Tigers fans was talking so much trash after sweeping my Yankees and in that series the Yankees couldn't score vs Detroit, and then the same thing turns around the happens to the Detroit tigers in the world series vs the Giants when the Detroit tigers couldn't score at all lol
both Vogey and Zarry Bito had a lot to prove. Zito was left off the 2010 postseason roster and he was visibly upset by that. Vogelsong was a highly valued prospect when he first came up but fortune did not smile on him. He later became one of the best stories in the game..minor league Nippon leauge etc.... old dragon nostrils was a GREAT Giant When Vogelsong ended his career as a Giant he was still throwing 95mph. His problem was always command.
