Would love a video on developing a style - like how to pick based on characteristics/body types. I'm just below avg height, but in great shape, but hate shopping and never feel like I look good in clothes even if they fit
I wish you good luck. My older brother was extremely handsome, easily 9/10 or 10/10, and in great shape but below average in height and the majority of women didn't want him. He always had to date women who were well below him in attractiveness.
@@robertdevoy3119 Wow dude :D Let me just say looks aren't everything and personality makes up for every bit you lack in height. Don't want to brag or anything but I never had problems with girls not wanting me for my height - in fact most girls I was with were taller than me and very attractive. But maybe things in germany just run different - but I don't think so. Not every girl sets her priorities in such a way.
Hi Courtney, number one fashion priority for me in the summertime is a having a cool head at all times. I keep a buzz cut hair cut and my beard is clean, neat and tidy. I hope the beautiful ladies love it.

Moschino Uomo is very nice for a summer fragrance. Citrus and musks but not overpowering. Kumquat, Aldehydes, Coriander and Brazilian Rosewood; middle notes are Cyclamen, Cinnamon, Clary Sage and Labdanum; base notes are Musk, Ambergris, Cedar and Wormwood. Beautiful frag.

Agree with helping develop a sense of style based on body type and also age. As a 40 something male I tend to shy from trendiness and maybe there is a way to incorporate it that I just don’t see.

I think she gave good advice with the linen button up, but shoes I would go with not just any loafer or espedrille, I like to wear leather drivers with no show socks. Preferably by Salvatore Ferragamo, because it's not over flashy like Gucci with huge emblems. I also like Pima Cotton Polo shirts by Ralph Lauren.
Courtney, thanks for the tips. I don't wear shorts because of work, and I live in the southwest where summers can get to 110 F. Also, I HATE the feeling of linen. I find that the stretchy, light pairs of jeans/long chinos you can get work really well out here and also will save you a ton of money and hassle on sunscreen. I still wear the more athletic forms of shirts, such as golf polos and the really breathable fabrics. However, I never think they fit me very well. Additionally, I'm fair skinned with 3 different hair colors on my face (red brown hair, white eyebrows, and red beard). I have trouble feeling confident in light colors and whites unless I have a dark contrast I can work with. I usually find that in a pair of black lens sunglasses or darkening my hair with some kind of product. I'm also thinking I could experiment with a dark neckpiece. Usually its a dark top with lighter pants. I've been experimenting with a new cream suede shoe and I can say I love them with a dark pair of pants and an even darker top.
I've been looking at ice fabric trousers. It looks like corduroy and linen. I'm not so keen on the heat. I'll be in Florida next month. I believe it's humid and 32° C
I would throw in a pair of leather sandels, an Alpha Romeo convertible, malibu rum, box of Cuban cigars (even if you don't smoke), linen bed sheets, and a bbq grill are a few of my summer essentials.
I didn't like Hey Dudes until I wore some. AMAZINGLY comfortable. I only wore then because my 29 something daughters bought them for me and said the were THE shoe to wear to be fashionable. 🤷
I started wearing above-the-knee shorts before it got back into popularity, I actually used to have to hem them myself before they started producing them for retail shopping. If only more men knew what's good for their strength their testosterone and their overall aesthetics, they wouldn't be skipping leg day and wearing above-the-knee shorts will be great for displaying a more masculine presence
Courtney, can you do a video on tattoos? Like well thought out tattoos, not some SoundCloud rapper face tattoo crap. Or style more along the lines of more punk, black, skater style? I have a laid back style most of the time but its hard to dress nicely without feeling like I'm changing my whole style.
With loafers, if you go sockless, you can also use women's panty liners on the bottom of the shoe. Panty liners are designed to absorb moisture and reduce odor and most have a sticky type of adhesive, so they won't move on you. Easy to replace and you don't have to worry about getting baby powder on the outside of your shoe. I have used this method and it works very well.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is a great summer fragrance. The best time to wear that is post shower after an outdoor run - it works best when the body is still warm.
I would only be able to wear a linen shirt in the summer on a unseasonably cool evening. It's just to hot for linen in summer here. With the humidity you have in Cleveland, I am surprised to hear you recommend this. The synthetic/cotton blends are actually very cool for summer wear if they "wick". It will be on the tag. The evaporation of the moisture from the shirt actually does cool you. People aren't wearing it on the golf course in the desert because they are warmer. Linen and 100% cotton hold the sweat much longer. I wear only wicking Tshirts and Polo's almost exclusively from May to Oct. in N. Nevada. People aren't wearing Linen in the summer in Florida, Texas, Tennessee or N. Carolina either either. Long selves? No. Only on very special occasions. Me thinks maybe you just like the look better (I do also). But modern synthetic/cotton blends that wick are easily demonstrably cooler. The technology works.

I absolutely love linen shirts but for some reason I need to wear a thin cotton undershirt, otherwise it gets sweaty soon.. counterintuitive really because you’d imagine that extra layer just makes it too hot.
Lighter Clothing I'd add that some clothes come in different "weights". I.e. thicker material. Courtney makes sense when she not only talks about lighter color, but adding lighter weight can make a bit of difference when the weather's hot.
most importantly is just having some character in your dressing sense guys, i get a lot of compliments on how i dress and the only thing i have thats mentioned in the video is a nice white t-shirt and white sneakers. so really dress up with something that resembles you well and make sure your colors all look good, check what your friends has to say of it and then go out and show everyone else :)
Great video Courtney. When you were setting up the shoe you are not a fan of, I KNEW you were going to say Hey Dude. They are HORRENDOUS! They look super comfortable, but they are hideous. I put them in the Crocs category. I literally laughed out loud. I have plenty of friends that wear them, but they are fashion "sheep."
Some fragrance have different scent on people. I heard it has something to do with your skin. Do a side by side comparison and ask the sales person which one smells better on you.
That’s true, it’s the oil produced. But main key: Stay hydrated! Drink water and detox the toxins. If you eat like garbage and not workout, you can tell the difference.
I have aquatics and light fragrances however I want something orangey and not super super expensive…doesn’t need to be cheap…but not $200 a bottle. What would you recommend?
Hears my tip if you shop on the high street like me , get loyalty cards. I hit Grafton street last week to buy summer gear and i cashed in all my loyalty cards that i have since about 2013, had 65 euro on my Diesel card , got T shirts , had 25 in the Ray ban shop , put the rest to it and got a pair of aviators , i didnt spend a whole lot and get a lot of new gear
Wear natural deodorants and you won't get those pit stains. It's the aluminum in the anti-perspirants that cause the stains. If you do that, and don't overwear them, you won't get those issues.

I would say sunglasses, but if it is to hot I would say shorts but I would also say white sneakers as they do go with any thing normally. Loafers are great, but sneakers can be used all the time when walking

"I don't like the smell of them, the look of them, I don't know. I just don't like them." something along those lines. "I rather you show up with a bucket of KFC or something." So then I said, "You're definitely my kind of girl."
Courtney, I would love to see you do a makeover like ‘queer eye’ or ‘what not to wear’. You’re clearly a great coach and stylist, and it would be fun to see you work one on one with someone.
How about sleevless t-shirt? If you live in a place where summer tends to be hot weather I would avoid wearing tight fited outfit and with such a strong sun avoid dark colours. The colours combination is up to your choise. As far as white sneakers, I often buy a pair, different model each time, of course. They can be kept clean easy by using wet wipes on them. They can wasy be combined with white t-shirt, jeans, shorts, a white hat...also I dont know why is Courtney so much against cargo pants/shorts, they are elegant and practical. At my work almost everyone has or wants few pairs of them. At beach they are quite popular as well.
