I thought of something kinda cool you could try. You could do all 4 diffcultes with all lives but you do them randomly. You number them 1-4 and roll a dice and that's what you do and after you finish that number then you roll again untill you get another one. (1 being easy. 4 being super expert).

That first level was one of the coolest I've ever seen! I think the pow in that second to last room was meant to block you if you go too slowly. It also makes sense with the level name "that escalated quickly" considering the next room had the same trap but much faster.

Just wanted to say that I love your use of Mario Maker sound effects in your videos, and I think you should use them in videos that aren't Mario Maker as well. Sorta like a staple to your channel
