I have just tried to do this box, I have the desktop version and being in Australia we use metric. i think i have done something wrong somewhere, all the joins are alot smaller than they should be :(
Hello Hope... thanks for the question. Seeing as I used the Box Gadget for this I suspect and a slight change in the too size will affect the end result of the box. That is one of the problems that will occur when using the Box Gadget. As I mentioned in the video if you are using VCarve Desktop you will need to make a few adjustments seeing as the Gadgets are only available in the Pro version. ~Todd
Well, I may need some help from one of you who used this box design because mine did not come out. The pins are to narrow for the tails. I used the 1/4" version of the file and a 1/4" down spiral bit but as I said, the pins were to short. For the first time, I don't really know which direction to go. The tails are exactly 3/4" as the box gaget shows. The tool path was to cut on the line from the file I downloaded from Vectric. Any assistance would be appreciated.
