@@ladin425 mikes a good friend of mine. He used to come to our track rentals at m.i.r. We had the first 1000whp e36 328 and first in the 9s with a 9.92@156 in 2007. With AC and heated leather seats.

@@sebastianromero420 Valve springs and retainers... As well as a big turbo kit, lots of tuning done, head bolts, new oiling system and a new cooling system, as well as cams, pistons and rods and new bearings for it to be reliable. Though 1000hp on the stock 2JZ internals has been achieved, it's pretty much a death sentence. I'm not saying that the S52 is stronger than the 2JZ, because it isn't, but it is a worthy contender. If you are shooting for 1000hp, you need to fully build the engine regardless, for the sake of not sending a con rod to the moon.
