I will never not brag that I was in the first band of the 2022 rose parade. One of the most incredible experiences I will ever have

Better than ABC and NBC broadcast versions! I missed so much of the beginning because they showed commercials instead of parade.

My Daughter was supposed to march in the parade today with the Georgia State marching band, we all got covid before Christmas so her dream was shattered. We still cheered them on from home as we watch the parade every year. Happy New Year to everyone and GO PANTHERS!!

This was so much better than NBC, excellent, best experience I have ever had of watching this parade.

KTLA is my ONLY go to for Rose Parade coverage. Even after Bob & Stephanie!

Just so it’s clear, even if they didn’t show it. The BOA honor band had a section of United Sound participants, this means that it was students with disabilities and their peers helping them as they march together. This is an amazing organization which helps so many students around the US with disabilities be able to play in band alongside the regular band kids. I’m confused on why it wasn’t mentioned but still wonderful nonetheless.

Thank you for not ruining the experience by running commercials to skip some bands and or groups. I love it.

Thank God, the parade is back. New years isn't the same without it. Great Job.

We really enjoyed how well paced and upbeat this was, whoever decided to keep the camera on the parade for the duration of the event deserves an award!!

I wish KTLA had an affiliate in New York to do the Macy's parade. This presentation was a real class act, and kudos to Honda for sponsoring it.

I am from Canada and watching The Rose Parade from Pasadena on YT is a treat. One day, I hope I can watch the Parade in Pasadena with my very own eyes! Also ❤ I can't wait to watch Levar Burton in Trivia Pursuit!!!!! Yea!!!!! Also what a great Parade and great floats! Also a big shoutouts to all who were involved! As well for the service men and women who served in the military!!!!

The Rose Parade is always a highlight in my life. Hard to image the love and dedication that goes into putting this together.

So nice to see high school marching bands participating! As a life long music student and retired professional studio singer, this heartens my soul that there’s still music in the schools. So important for kids!

Took my mother to it in the 90’s😍. Front row seat. Was moved to the street level in our motor home because my mom was too sick to do the stands! Never forget it.

How wonderful ! I am in Montreal I've been really isolated and sad during the pandemic, this parade online gave me much Joy ! I love flowers as I am a florist for over 20 years and I adore horses, it was a real gift to watch, thank you to all and blessings in 2022 to everyone

Oh Wow what a great Group of professional hosting the Rose Parade Like the good old times!!

My son held award banner in this parade, we are so proud of him as one of 60 Eagle Scouts be selected from hundreds in LA county. As 1st gen immigrants, me and my wife watched this parade forty+ years ago when we were still in a country across Pacific Ocean. This parade showed how prosperous and nice weather in California, Rose Parade was our first American dream. This year is our first time to be seated on Colorado and watched the whole parade, it was just 5 miles away from our home, of course that is for watching our son. But from my son’s perspective, he said when they turned from Orange Groove to Colorado, the spectacular view was astonishing, he will never forget.

Seeing the B-2 opening the parade never gets old!

Thank you for posting this to RU-vid, KTLA 5! 75 years! Hard to believe. I'm an Angeleno born here in 1950. Channel 5 was my favorite station. The first parade I remember watching was on Channel 5. It's a little vague but I recall coverage by Bill Welsh and Stan Chambers over the years. I idolized those guys and remember them fondly. KTLA was owned by Paramount and I remember seeing the KTLA logo with an antenna on a mountain top with stars surrounding the logo, similar to the Paramount logo. I've watched most of the parades since '61, always on Channel 5 (except sometimes Channel 11 way back when; I'm very sorry). I read Bill Welsh covered 49 parades for Channel 5. Always kept an eye out for the KTLA Telecopter--the first news helicopter ever. May there be and may you cover many, many more parades.

I haven't see Star Trek Leevor Burton for a long time. He's look good and getting older.

I always watch this every year. Usually with hangover from drinking too much on New Years Eve. But I end up drinking Coffee all day to wake up. And I missed the live broadcast this year. So thanks for posting this so I can watch it. Luckily, I have Chromecast so I can watch it on my TV the right way instead of my IPhone with the 5.5 inch screen. A Parade needs to be watched on a Big Screen. This is excellent! I was lucky enough to visit LA for a month during Christmas and New Years and I went to Pasadena to see the Parade up close. It was fantastic! Being from the Midwest, I was shocked at how nice the weather was. It was 70 degrees in the daytime on New Year’s Day! Light jacket weather. I was very happy to enjoy the sunshine and mild weather with the beautiful scenes in Pasadena. I love a Parade and it’s a great way to start the New Year! Enjoy and thanks! 👏🏻😎🍾🎆🎊🥂🎈

I can remember going to the parade when I was a boy in the 70's. Hippie guys used to throw hand full's of loose change out their apartment windows onto the street and all us kids would run out and grab some. Some parents yelled at them to stop and they fired back "Its a Rose parade tradition". LOL. Funny memories, I miss those days.

At 1:08:57, Our Lions float “Quest for Kindness” has won the Lathrop K. Leishman Award for Most Beautiful Non-Commercial Float in the 133rd Rose Parade. Hard work has truly paid off. I grew up sleeping along that parade route and had a front row seat to the parade. I liked it better in those days. Not so commercialized. We put roses on those floats.

Two years in a row I was blessed to attend the parade watching from a private home. The marching bands are my fav.

I love it! I love it! What an amazing parade and so well caught on cameras and narrated! Many great detail and serendipitous shots! This video makes a wonderful memoir for all who participated.! Kudos!🎇 PS: It must have smelled beautiful there with all the flowers!

When I moved from CA I never thought about not getting KTLA's broadcast of the Rose Parade. I miss it so much. Thank you for putting it on RU-vid. You are the best. Last time I attended in person I sat just under your broadcast booth. So this is like being there once again. Glad you got another beautiful sunny CA day, what a treat.
