Early on, the commentators also described the red balls as being "perfectly" positioned for a 147. I'm new to snooker and don't understand much. What aspect of the red ball placements determine bad situations or good? Is it just due to them being all close to that end of the table, and that there's a decent amount of separation from each of them -- no balls are stuck together?
@@CT99999 to score a 147 you need to sink all 15 red balls followed by all blacks so perfectly positioned means there were all near the black ball...Ronnie is probably the greatest snooker player that ever lived so far...
Blooming white ball's bouncing an inch off the table with the punch he put in and still so accurate off of a cushion. Phenomenal. Top ten shots of all time for my money.
They did a recreation of that shot on BBC on year. Nobody could do it. Ronnie could try and probably get it a few times out of 10. Genius and circumstances combined.
The Rocket has scored many 147s in his career. But, his reaction to this one was most animated. It meant a lot. By far his best 147. The way he constructed that 147 is mind bending.
His reaction in this 147 was because he broke the record which at that time they held together with Stephen Hendry with 8 now Ronnie is at 15...what a genius!!!
I have watched this 147 many times and each time I saviour it more. Ronnie is definitely in a class of his own and it has shown in the 2022 Championship
There's many great players in this day and age,but this guy is like poetry in motion when he's in the mood.as john higgins said after losing in the world championship to ronnie..."he's lethal".
Commentator summed it up. "Flawless". I was always happy just to pot 5 balls in succession. If you haven't played snooker it's hard to fully appreciate what happened here.
yes, Ronnie's the best, but let's not forget the excellent commentaries of Willie Thorne, always informative but never over-dramatic and unfailingly courteous to the players - a sad loss to the sport.
An impossible shot on the 3 last red, where he had an impossible angle to dislodge the red off the pink. Many have tried to replicate that shot and failed. Here in 2022 today- congratulations @ronnieosullivan on your 7th World Title. Absolutely been wonderful watching you play all my life
@Drug CHEAT Ronnie 🤣🤣🤣🤣 nice joke. Btw, he was on 20 or so ranking titles in 2012 - the year Hendry retired and Hendry was on 36. Ronnie then in the last decade won around 15 more taking his total to 38. Think he won more ranking titles whilst Hendry was around.
@Ronnie O Sullivan lmao, Hendry recently came out of retirement and got destroyed by plenty of different players. Ronnie has been playing top snooker for years. Still keeping up with todays players and todays generation of new players. Hendry couldn’t do that. Lmao. Ronnies the greatest ever. Stop talking.
The talent and the skills this man has is un human most times but the hard work he puts in this of practice when hes not playing or in competition to be a complete machine alot of the times deserves every bit of this world record congratulations Ronnie couldn't be more happier for you tyvm for this video
I've seen Reardon, Higgins, Davis and Hendry at their best, but Ronnie O'Sullivan is just something else. Watching history being made by the Greatest Snooker Player of All time was a privilege.
Higgins reminds me of Ronnie. At his best, he came closest to that level of magic. He had that gift that transcended. Higgins at his absolutely perfect best, would be a very tough match for Ronnie.
Whichever player in the future gets close to the quality and longevity of Ronnie O'Sullivan will be some amazing player. There are no words that really do him justice
That was extremely great Ronnie O'Sullivan congratulations job well done now I don't even more proud to be you fan I enjoy watching you play I brag a lot about you your truly amazing
even though you know the result...you are still nervous while watching......because you know how hard it is to do.....(about once every 3-4 years..for the Best) Amazing cue control!
Watching Ronnie play is scintillating, imagine being in that crowd, witnessing history unfold. Without a doubt, the greatest snooker player of all time. 7 World Championships and over 1000 centuries. Blink and you’ll miss him… The 🚀
I think these days Ronnie plays it down when he beats Henry's records out of respect to Hendry. But you can see her from his reactions what they mean to him. What a player, what a break. Truly deserving of the GOAT status.
Another record for legend! He play so smart! Always he now how shoot the ball and where need she stop for next shoot. 9 maximum, before Hendry have record with 8. And ronny do this in the last frame. Amazing! 💪🇸🇮
