Dr. Tharoor is simply brilliant. I would have loved him to be my history teacher when I was young. Even now I am learning so much everytime he speaks. What a wealth of knowledge he has. I hope I see him as my PM soon.

No one hearing Dr Tharoor today can but just respect, love and honour him greatly for his actual and genuine interpretation of the country’s Constitution which is now being mostly incorrectly interpreted by many.

Calicut had a 1928 club started by the legendary VKKM :) It was a wonderful debate sir. Always a joy to watch.

Shashi is wrong in saying that we lost race to China. Indians are quite capable of growing fast and overtake. But leadership need to change. Break the licence Raj, Remove corruption and we will overtake China in matter of few years. Today India grows at night when government sleeps. We are driving out capital and entrepreneurs.

While there are many factors that led to Indian independence an important one is forgotten. In fact it is the reason for partition. The Atlantic Conference and Charter of 1941. Post War end to colonialism was a condition laid by Roosvelt to enter the war. The US needed the creation of Pakistan to achieve their military supremacy in the Middle East. A hedge against the unfinished Great Game. These aspects must be taught to get the complete picture.

Krishna Menon allowed Indian soldiers to starve to death in the war against China, Instead of planning and providing rations for Indian soldiers. Krishna Menon should have been court marshalled and jailed, instead of parading him as a hero. Shashi Tharoor should be ashamed for parading Krishna Menon as a hero.
