Not as comfortable as you may think. Althought the leather upper looks like great, broken in leather, the fact of the matter is, it is a 34 year old shoe. Not to mention the air unit inside the heel has deteriorated making comfort equivalent to a generic Converse. Is it worth it? 1000%. Cheers!

how do you think the og 1's would hold up if you wore them? i know the jordan 3 and up start to crumble in the midsole when they get old. would be so dope to rock a pair of og 1's. Great video btw.

+Paul Kersey I rock the OG 1 from time to time. Pretty durable because it's a rubber outsole and midsole. The 2-9 are polyurethane midsole so those will crumble over time.

I was in 8th grade in 85' and lived in the Chicago suburbs. I had to take black and red markers to my 3/4 top Nikes..lol. I think I was the 1st person to do that.

The og were higher than the retros. And the leather looks cheaper than the soft tumbled leather on the retros.

Yeah. Release date for that is May 30 and it'll have Nike Air branding treatment. I plan to cop that. It'll be $160. Possibly all over online, in store raffles, etc.

Are you sure? I've been doing a lot of research and I can't find anything that says which one came out first to the public...I think the Black/Red were made first but never got released

I'm just about positive. I was asked this about a week ago. White/Red's style code on box is 4280 and Black/Red is 4281. Based off the numbers it would suggest that White/Red released first.

To my knowledge, the White/Black-Red (4280) in March 1985 followed by the Black/Red (4281) in March 1985. I'm not sure the exact day. Jordans used to release on Wednesdays but I couldn't find concrete evidence online of the exact date. Hope this helps.
