The 1996 Tahoe project exterior/suspension is done and its STUNNING!

This project that once started as a simple lowering kit and wheels has turned into much more! I decided to do the full Killer Performance treatment to the exterior as I have on the ZR/ZL1500 trucks. The Tahoe turned out absolutely incredible!
Suspension: IHC Suspension
Wheels: 20x10.5 and 20x8.5 Weld Laguna
Tires: Nitto 295/40/20 and 245/40/20
Bumpers and grille: LMC Truck
Brakes: AZ Pro Performance
Paint: Tanners Customs
C notch: Belltech Suspension

@@Anglo254 not really where i was going with this but they are building race trucks not the coolest "stockish" builds which one is frame off. And not replaced with a race chassis. Oy vey

@@PEDR0SKI exactly right? Two completely different ends of the spectrum. These are as if gm made them now and that's what's bas ass about these trucks. Don't get me wrong the odg trucks are sick as well. Thier Tahoe is crazy 🤘🏼 hell all of them.

Love it I remember back in high school 1996 a classmate had the truck same color on bags I think he was running the Boyd rims that day I’ve always fell in love with that year and color, I just had to watch the video love it

A table grinder would have taken those extra ridges off in no time. I had to do a lot of grinding for parts on my international scout. It was my go-to method for certain parts. Best investment I’ve made, for my garage.

The front side reflectors/markers look killer with a thin black border. Basically matching the frame/ring outline the lower lights. Looks even better with a light smoke after.

Absolutely in love with the build! If you happen to read this, which you might already know about. If not, you should. Special paint color for 99 and 00. Fairway green metallic. Absolutely pops, had the full color on my 99 Silverado obs. Sold roughly 10 years ago and still trying to buy it back. Look it up

These trucks look better with a 1/2-1" rake front to rear. It looks absolutely killer. I really like those wheels. I've got the 20" 2013 GMC 6 spoke wheels declad that Weldcraft widened in the back 11" and I'm seriously considering replacing my declad 20s with these.

You don’t need to cut anything to clearance for lower control arms .. I’m at like 8/11 drop on my 2 door tahoe and I didn’t notch for the control arms or tie rods . I love the way this came out super clean
