This week i decided to get a pair of IKKON sideskirts for the camaro. These skirts fit really well and i was pretty impressed. BE SURE TO SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE CONTENT! Music by: Clarx - Bones [NCS Release]
Just bought these exact side skirts for my maro,so glad I found your install video because I read on the reviews the Ikons don’t come with any instructions or mounting gear
Did you have to use self tappers bc clips wouldn't fit in that spot, or what was the reasoning behind having to use the self tappers instead of more clips? Thanks
As it is some months now can you provide an update, up close on the skirts? From other videos anyone looking to add these should assume they will be replacing them every few years. And the 3M tape does not withstand the weather well at all.
I actually used retaining clips with holes drilled into the bottom of the skirt. So far I’ve had zero issues with these. If you attach them this same way they’ll only come off if you break them off lol
I have some questions? I swapped my engine out of my 1990 GMC Sierra 1500 to a 1994 Chevy motor. Both motors are 5.7 V8 I'm have issues with the belt being pulled towards the motor. If you can help me with that issue that would be great. Thanks
Sounds like you need to check your brackets out. I’m running the bracket system from a 4.3 V6 on my small block. It swapped right over. Id recheck all brackets sounds like a spacer was left out.
Honestly pretty good I’d recommend those tabs and place the 3M tape low so it doesn’t show. They will flex if you rub something so it actaully works out pretty good in case you do drag.
@@DAGOLFER34 they make a whole kit for it on summit for the s10. Also love that 1st gen camaro it's my dream car tbh I'd take any camaro but I already got my project
