I was thinking that black skateboard that was extra wide and about the size of a cruiser was probably the best skateboard. I have a cruiser. It’s freaking awesome but it’s not super wide.
Yeah that’s the Penny Surfskate! Super wide for sure; it’s probably the coolest deck of all the boards I have. Cool to hear you have a cruiser and enjoy getting out 🤙🏼
ride downhill and power slide on a surfskate?? Hmm that sounds pretty wild! I'm assuming it's possible to power slide on a surf skate, but they're kinda sketchy going fast downhill @@br4inx_xm4tt3r7
I know a very beginner friendly to intermediate downhill spot..... in Australia 😅 But you need to go either early morning or late afternoon, otherwise there's too many people >< Similarly, I know a good pump track 🤔 But awesome video! It's winter in Aus at the moment, so my Pennyboarding these days consists of learning to ollie on my 32-inch Penny Skateboard in the backyard haha
Not sure where you’re located, one of your videos seemed to be in Connecticut. It would be cool to do a northeast meetup to catch the NY and CT cruising crew.
Tyler, do you feel confort riding close to dogs? for a reason I don't understand a lot of dogs get mad when I'm riding my Penny board, even I had been biten one time 😢
Dang, I’m sorry to hear you have gotten bitten before! I’ve been bitten when I was a kid, and it’s really scary. Generally, I don’t ride next to dogs, but if I see a walker on a path/road that I’m coming up to, I usually say “on your left” to give them notice I’m coming up behind them. If a dog walker is coming towards me, people have been usually respectful (as am I), and I stay to the right and they the left. *I know I have some British and Australian viewers so it’d likely be the opposite side for you
