Im dyslexic and reading literally terrified me. I found your videos and it inspired me to try to read again for fun. I finished 2 books in February, one of which i found from one of your videos. Thank you for helping me!
You may want to “challenge” yourself and continue reading with your eyeballs. (Challenge doesn’t seem like to best word to describe what I mean but I couldn’t think of another way to put it but I swear it is not a slight.) But if you just want to enjoy stories period, I’d try audiobooks (if you don’t already.) There’s also a lot of us that listen to audiobooks while we follow along in physical or ebook copies. I do that especially when I find a book dense. But way to go! Out here trying when a lot wouldn’t!
same! but I also have to remind myself: this is her job! this is what she does while I work my retail job. I cant read while working. so I remind myself of that to help me feel better. bc on top of work AND trying to have a social life, sometimes I go a whole week w/o getting a chance to read anything!
The most important thing is that you get to read. A lot of people don't get to read at all for one reason or the other. The joy of reading is precious. Enjoy your ability to get through 5 books a month. 🌞
it’s funny because i had binding 13 on my tbr but i saw that sara didn’t like it so i was apprehensive on reading it but hearing the way you talk about the books are making me want to read them again!
I strive to read and love books like destiny does. I am happy if I read two books in one month. 😅 I love reading but it’s difficult for me to actually pick up a book. Destinys love for books helps me want to tho. So thank u!
I definitely found crown of midnight to be a filler book. End was great though. I LOVED Assassins blade and read it first. Even though I knew the major spoiler, I still cried my eyes out. A lot of the lines and subtle mentions in the rest of the books have origins there. Personally I'd read it first but if you want a pause before Heir of Fire (where more of the magical element comes in) then definitely read TAB then.
I've seen a ton of positive reviews on the boys of tommen series but you've fully convinced me to buy these books and I already know I'm about to be soooo attached
I literally beg of u do not dnf tog series until after u read queen of shadows, it’s literally one of my top books of 2022. Def would’ve recommended reading the prequel after heir of fire cause that’s when that info starts to actually come into play 😫

I wanted to like The Final Offer so much but as the child of an alcoholic I just could not get myself to trust Cal at all no matter what he did. Couldn’t do it. Sad face. 😢

Queen of shadows was my favorite ToG book in the series. I struggled with books 1-2, and book 5 then ended strong. Did not read the prequel and I don’t want to lol 😂

I want so badly to be somebody that can read a lot of books in one month but I can’t. I went on a splurge in December and bought like 40 bucks and I haven’t read any of them.
I rated Love and Other Words a three star. Love Macy.. not too crazy about Elliot.. I wasn’t rooting for him. She could’ve done better. 🤷🏻♀️ it was an entertaining read but … eh just Elliot isn’t it.
I felt the same way when I read it. I actually liked Elliot in the present but he annoyed me so much in the past. I think I rated it 3.75. It was fine.
here to say that throne of glass and crown of midnight are by FAR the worst books in the series (crown of midnight is my least fave) and literally heir of fire is one of my faves it just gets better as you go on!!!!!
